I couldn't get why she was all of a sudden 'fine' with everything after a week of totally ignoring me, she can't just be 'over it' just like that... can she? Can girls get over things that easily? I wouldn't know. "So Lexi, why the sudden change of mind? I mean two days ago you were totally ignoring me."
"I wasn't," she gracefully jumped over a log, "I wasn't 'ignoring' you, I was simply waiting for you, waiting for you to call or message, in fact most of the days I was sitting by bed staring down at my phone," she stopped and looked up at me, "I was actually waiting for you."
I felt a little guilty but I bet that was her plan this whole time, "oh," that's all that came out. We continued up hill, it was a nice forest, quite open I noticed. In fact, open enough to do some training here. Perfect place, it was nice and cool too, it will help keep her tempter down, deserted so no one else could hear or suddenly turn up out of no where. "Hey Elexis, this is a really cool place! Actually a perfect place to train you in."
She looked at me, fire gleaming in her eyes, "Dylan! I wanted this to be the perfect last picnic! As a human! Can't you get that! Seriously, my birthdays in almost a week, my last day as a human is almost a week away, let's just wait till then before you start talking about training, ok?!"
She took a deep breath and kept walking. "The clearings up ahead, well that's what the ex owners said, I can't remember the exact words but they said something about moss."
We walked side by side in silence for another 2 minutes. "There's meant to be a clearing here, I don't get it, there's moss but no clearing?" She looked around before touching the moss, she suddenly jumped, "whoa, it's really loose Dylan!" She pushed the curtain of moss even harder. She stepped forward, I followed.
An elevator disguised as a tree is one thing but slipping through moss is another... and we didn't even know what was on the other side. Calling it a clearing was an underestimation. In front of us was more of an enchanted park, there was a neat narrow creek on the right, it see,we to be leading to a massive water hole outlined by mossy rocks.
Across the other side was a table made out of finely chopped wood, I ran my finger over it, it was as soft as silk. Incredible. Accompanied the table near by was a swing, also made out of forestry wood, a darker colour though. It was amazing.
Elexis spoke, her voice startled me, "close the curtain, let's keep this place secretive," by the way she was speaking it was obvious she was just as shocked as I was, it more of a whisper. I walked towards the water hole, I noticed the creek got narrower as I follow the water up, whoa! There's a little waterfall!
"Hey Lexi!" I called out to her, she was at the table. "Look at that little waterfall!" I pointed to the rocks.
"That's incredible! This whole place is incredible!" She exclaimed. I looked up, the forestry created shade from above, the ground was damp making everything turn into different shades of green. The 'clearing' had mossy rock walls. Perfect for training. But I kept that too myself.
