Alexia POV
We stood there awkwardly until my sister came over. "Avery? What are you doing here" she asked
"I came to get you guys" she said shivering from the cold air as she had no jacket on.
"Go back we're good" I said as Lexie stayed quiet I could tell I was pissing Avery off but she didn't show it.
She sighed "please just come to my house with the others" she said looking tired and cold I instantly started to feel bad stupid mate bond.
"Come on Alexia let's just go with her I want to cuddle her" my wolf Nila said in my head
"Why should I she probably doesn't even want me" I said in my mind to my wolf
"Look what we're doing to her" my wolf said as I looked up at Avery who seemed to be freezing.
"Fine if you two don't come with me I'm staying with you" she said taking a seat on the cold ground. She was determined and that made me like he even more.
I sighed 'ok i'll go just get up you look stupid" i told her trying to act like i didn't care she smiled.We went outside and she got in the front seat Lexie forced me into the front seat with Avery as she sat in the back.
The ride wasn't that long but for some reason it felt like hours Eventually my eyes started to get heavy and I ended up leaning over I hadn't noticed that my head was on Avery shoulder as I held on to her arm and drifted off to sleep.
Avery's POV
I looked down to see that Alexia had feel asleep on my arm it was the cutest thing. Alexia may be taller then me even more muscular but she seemed to be nothing but a big baby.
"She likes you ,you know" Lexie said from the back seat she must've seen me looking at her sister in Awe.
"Yeah right it seems more like she hates me"
"She doesn't shes always like that" she said
"Wasn't there a time she wasn't" I asked
"Actually yes long before our parents were killed" she said my heart dropped
"I'm sorry"
"It's ok it's not your fault" she said and I gave her a warm smile through the Rearview mirror.
"What about you I want to know more about you"
"Well there's nothing really to know I'm adopted I have a adopted sister I hate sports and jocks and cheerleaders and coaches" I said causing Alexia to laugh a bit
"You sound like my sister"
I laughed "I Guess I do" I said looking lovingly at the girl on my arm
A few hours later we pulled up to my house I parked the car in the driveway and we went inside I had Lexie wake Alexia up as I was scared she might kill me.
When we got in the house I was immediately tackled to the ground again. Oh my god not this again I looked up to see that it was Roy
"Oh it's just Avery guys" he said as the other two came down stairs. Just then I heard growling I looked over to see Alexia bout ready to tear his head off.
"Mine!" She barked out Roy looked truly scared but quickly got up off of me holding his hands up in surrender. She was breathing hard and her fist was balled up. What is happening what did she mean by mine is she talking about me?. I thought in my head.
"Alexia " I called out gaining her attention.
"Calm down" I said cupping her face with my hands and she did just that. Everyone was looking at me weirdly like they knew something I didn't.
I quickly noticed what I was doing and removed my hands then I cleared my throat "Um Let's just go to sleep we have school tomorrow" I said dusting myself off.
I showed them to their room they had all decided to sleep in one room so I made sure they had everything they needed before leaving I then went to my room to change and get ready for bed. I went in my closet and grabbed out a clean T shirt with my favorite tv show on it and a pair of grey joggers. I then went to my bathroom had a quick shower and pulled on my clothes before getting in bed. I check my phone for any messages from mom or dad as they wouldn't be home till tomorrow.
I then put my phone on the charger before setting it on the nightstand and turning off the lamp.
I closed my eyes slowly drafting off to sleep.
