Chapter 17

Alexia's POV

I was in the backyard of the pack house that was turned into a training area it was a big large open area. I was putting on boxing gloves when I heard Roy yell my name, I rolled my eyes when he came up to me "so what's it now" he asked I just ignored him as I continued to put on the gloves. "Take those off" he said I looked up at him "take them off since you don't want to talk lets spar first person to fall and hit the mat loses if I win you talk" he said I rolled my eyes and took them off throwing them to the ground we both then went over to the mat and got in our fighting stance my eyes were trained on him as we both started to do circles around the mat, Roy made the first move by throwing a punch in which I dogged by blocking with my left hand he then got closer and struck again but this time with a kick in which I blocked before pushing him back.

"Ok I see your not going to make this easy" he said I shrugged just then I decided to make a move of my own throwing two punches to the face but only landing one the other one he blocked by grabbing me by my arm then twisting it behind my back before putting me in a headlock all in one Swift move, I forget sometimes that we were trained by the same person and that he's almost just as good as me.

"Ready to talk now" he said tightening his hold on me as I struggled to get out, just then I elbowed him in the stomach causing him to stumble backwards but he didn't fall instead he instantly went back to his fighting stance, I rolled my eyes and was about to turn and leave as this whole thing was just stupid. "you know maybe Avery should've rejected you" Roy said I stopped dead in my tracks "who knows with you acting like this maybe she will change her mind about you and do so anyway" he said I tried to ignore him as my fist was balled up and I was just about ready to explode.

"Hmm maybe I'll have a better chance with her" he said and that was my last straw I launched at him grabbing him by his neck and was about to slam him but he ended up throwing me to the ground somehow and pining me there. "You loss" he  said with a wide smirk on his face I threw him off of me and got up I was pissed as I was about to walk away he stopped me.

"A deals a deal Alexia you agreed-" he said

"I didn't agree to anything you fucking asshole" I said back getting in his face

"What's going on in that head of yours Alexia" he asked calmly I looked away although he was just saying those things to piss me off I knew that he was right about one thing, Maybe Avery should've rejected me.

"I don't want her to go do this stupid plan" I grumbled

"What do you mean" he asked

"I don't want her going to look for this packs Alpha without me by her side to protect her I don't want her to GET HURT!" I said yelling that last part Roy facial expression changed before her started to laugh I rolled my eyes and was about to stomp away but he stopped me again. "No no wait I'm sorry" he said I just stood there with my arms folded

"But Is that it? you don't want her to get hurt?" He asked I shrugged

"Alexia she's an alpha it's literally her job to risk he life" he said I sighed and dropped my arms to the side I guess he was right

"Look if it makes you feel any better I'm not going to let her do that I'm partnered up with her I give you my word I'll protect her if anything comes up ok?" He said trying to reassure me.

"Fine but if she comes back with so much as an scratch on her pretty face I'm going to beat you till your bloody" I said he laughed but I was very much so serious. "Oh your not joking" he said once he stopped laughing I shook my head no, "Ok Ok but you have to promise me something as well" he said

"What?" I asked

"You have to promise me that you'll stop this" he said

"Stop what" I asked
