Chapter 1

Wassup my Beautiful readers so here's one of my new stories, I've fell in love with my Cover but besides that I really hope you guys enjoy this as I do enjoy making stories and coming up with all these different Scenarios and stuff anyways without further or do ladies and gentlemen I present to you chapter 1 of the true alpha.

Avery's POV

I woke up to the sound of people yelling and the overwhelming smell of fear. Just then my mom came running into my bedroom

"Avery sweetie come on get up we have to go" she said picking me up and holding me on her hip.

"Where are we going mommy" I questioned confused

"Where going to go play a game" she said running out of the house with me in her arms We got to the start of the woods just at the pathway that goes into them

"What game mommy" I asked as she sat me down to stand

"It's kind of like hide in seek but different because your going to run and keep running until I find you ok"

"But mommy that's tag"

"No this game is different because it has one special rule" she said cupping my face in her hands as tears fell down her face

"You can't look behind you" she then kissed my forehead just as my dad came running up behind her with my younger cousins Gabriel in his arms and Riley on his back. He sat them both down to stand next to me.

"Ok you guys know what to do run ok we are right behind you" he said kissing me on the forehead I was young to young to know that, that kiss was a goodbye kiss not a see you later. "Run!!" He yelled and we did just that we ran into the woods past the trees.

I heard screaming behind me people crying loud growls fire everywhere but I didn't look behind me remembering my mother's words I didn't turn around I kept running closing my eyes tight feeling the wind hit my face the cold night air running through my hair I ran as fast as my little feet could take me. I was so focused on not turning around that I hadn't noticed that I had lost Gabriel and Riley. I kept running but stopped when I felt that my feet was no longer on leafs and sticks but instead on the hard cold cement ground. I was now in the middle of the street and out of the woods

I turned around seeing that the woods was on fire the screaming getting louder I put my hands over my ears.

"Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!!!!" Just then  heard a girls voice

"Your ok Avery just open your eyes" I heard a voice say

I woke up in a pool of Sweat my T shirt was soaking wet I looked around not knowing where I was for a second.

"Hey hey your ok your in your room at home" my sister Izzy said with my hands in hers

I looked at her and suddenly my heart stopped beating out of my chest and I was able to breathe again.

"Izzy"

"Yes I'm here your ok you just had another nightmare what was it about this time" she asked Calmly

"The Screams" I said as tears started to roll down my face

"Ok Avery should I tell mom to set you another appointment with your therapist" she asked Rubbing my arm in an attempt to Comfort me. I slowly nodded my head yeah.

"Ok I'll let her know for now go take a shower and calm down we have to get ready for school ok"

"Ok" I said she then kissed me on the forehead and was about to leave but I grabbed her hand

"Thank you" she smiled

"I've always got your back little sis" she said before leaving.

I took a couple of deep breath's before getting out of bed.

I know you guys are probably confused but hi I'm Avery and what you just witnessed was me having another one of my terrifying nightmares and waking up screaming like a crazy person. See I've had these terrifying dreams for as long as I could remember well every since I got with the Jones family. When they adopted me I was really young around 5 years old. The police say they found me wondering around the street in the middle of the night just at the edge of the woods. I don't remember nothing about my real parents just that they probably didn't want me but it doesn't bother me as much as it use to probably because I started to realize that I ended up with some amazing people.

My dad Tom my mom Jessica and my sister Isabell has been nothing but amazing and I love and appreciate them for taking me in. And dealing with my episodes every night and every morning.

I got out of bed throwing the covers off of me and went straight to my bathroom. I then stripped out of my now soaking wet T-shirt and my boxers.

I never liked wearing girl underwear because they were uncomfortable to me so I choose to wear boxers instead. I got in the shower after turning the water on warm. I grabbed my Wash cloth and my strawberry scented body wash before pouring it onto the wash cloth. I then began to scrub every inch of my body.

After my shower I got out and got dressed putting on a clean White T-shirt a hoodie and some jeans. I then went back in the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth as I still had morning breath. After doing that I grabbed my book bag and rand downstairs.

When I got downstairs I was immediately greeted by my mom.

"Morning sweetheart you want breakfast" she asked I shook my head no

"Ok then here's your lunch and you have a therapy appointment next week" she said kissing me on the forehead.

"Ok mom thanks"

"No problem sweetheart now go your father and sister are waiting for you outside in the car" she said walking me out the door.

"Ok bye mom love you"

"Love you too"
