»In Virgils Head«

Virgils POV:
" I can't do this anymore. Maybe it would just be better if one of us died.", I hear Ethan say. He sits a few metres away of me. He seems so fragile, but I know it is all a lie. I can see through it all now.
"Please.", I growl. "Drop it."
"You have grown through this all, Virgil."
My breath leaves me for a second.. He called me Virgil. He called me owner of this body.
"Wh-what are you implying?", I asked, but a dark part of my brain already knew.
A terrible part.

"Goodbye, Anxiety."
Before I could do a single thing, say a
single word -
I felt a part of myself crumple.
My head swayed, I lost my sense of oriantation.
"One of us has to die! You knew that from the beginning, didnt you?", he laughed his maniac laugh, one that belongs to this body, one that belongs to me. If one of us dies, the other needs to hold both sides.
Anxiety
and
Paranoia.
"Who is the one to die?"
"You know that."
"How do you want to die?"
