Virgils POV:
The final fight? What did i miss? Which detail did I leave out? What have I forgotten?
Paranoia is gone. That was what I wanted. Why is this not enough?
He flet, he died. Why die for me?
I felt my breath sharpen. My dream collapsing. My body shook with each passing second, as I waited to pass out again. I did, but it was different. When I woke in reality, it was like I woke up from agood slumber instead of waking up suddenly, shaken from a dark fever dream.
"Guys?", i mumbled. Everybody turned to me. Well, if you could call it that.
Patton looked at me slighttly, his hands nervously fidgetting. Logans eyes were glazed over with silver, i could see, he was not entirely here. Roman looked me directly in the eyes.
"So.", he started. He stepped forward to me. I dint flinch. I was...calmer. At peace for once.
So Paranoia really way gone. Relieve washed over me, but it quikly left, being unsure of the situation i was in now. "Yes?", i asked Roman, trying to read him. Normally he was an open book to me. Not today. He was closed up.
"They all died." "Huh?" "All the dark sides."
I looked around. A heartbeat passed and I understood. "So Logan and Patton...they were chosen from Remus and Janus?"
"Yes."
"Have they been like this the entire time?" "Without a second without starring into space.", he sighed. "What about you?". "Paranoia is dead, he wont be back. He died for me, saying there will be a last battle to be prepared for. What does that even mean? We are all light sides now, we dont have any enemy anymore."
Roman looked at quizingly, There, in the very back of his eyes, i saw emotion i could recognize.
Pity.
"Why are you looking at me like that?". He stayed silent, looking to the ground.
"Roman!", i yelled, suddenly angry at him. I felt my new power mix with my usual, it felt so good. I let it pulse through my body.
Roman looked up to me, and put his hand on my shoulder. I wanted to bite his arm of. I was so full of..wrath- wait.
"The side you forgot was-"
"Wrath.", i sank down. "Fuck."
