Part 1

"Alright Reed I have to go or I am going to be late for my shift." I said to my brother Dr. Reed Richards, scientist. I was heading out of the door while he was working in his lab in our apartment.

"What time is your shift over?" Sue, Reeds girlfriend and my best friend asked. I lived with Reed and Sue while I was in nursing school and also worked as a registered nurse. I was what some people termed a genius and I graduated high school at 15 and went directly to college for nursing and now I was working on my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

"I don't really know Sue. I have a class and study group after my shift." I said.

"A night class?" Reed asked coming out of the lab.

"Yes, I will be fine but I really have to go." I said grabbed my bag and opened the apartment door to someone about to knock.

"Cece!" Johnny, Sue's younger brother said and I rolled my eyes.

"Grace, it's 5 letters Johnny. I think even your moronic brain could figure that out." I said and Johnny looked me up and down in my scrubs.

"So, you making it look like you have a job now? We all know you are sponging off your brother and my sister." Johnny said and I groaned.

"Johnny, just don't." I said and went to walk by him but he blocked the doorway.

"I am going to be late." I said trying to get by and I couldn't. Johnny smiled getting his way but I smiled as I saw someone come up behind him.

"Johnny, do I need to forcibly move you so Gracie can get through?" Ben asked. He was Reed's work partner, best friend and my protector. Johnny then moved, I kissed Ben on the cheek as I walked by and headed to the elevator.

"What time will you be home Gracie?" Ben asked and I groaned.

"I don't know dad!" I said emphasizing it and he laughed.

"Have a good day Cece!" Johnny called out as I got on the elevator. I turned around to hit the button and then I flipped Johnny off.

**********APARTMENT POV**********

"Why must you piss her off Johnny?" Ben asked as they walked into the apartment.

"Who did he piss off?" Sue asked coming out to the living room where they were.

"Gracie." Ben said and Sue groaned.

"Johnny, why?" Sue asked and he shrugged.

"It's fun." Johnny said.

"You can't just leave my sister alone can you?" Reed asked.

"Nope, she is sponging off of you two. I mean she lives here rent free, eats your food and doesn't even help pay for anything." Johnny said and Ben groaned.

"She is in college and working Johnny. She isn't sponging. We don't want her money." Sue said and Reed nodded in agreement.

"I think you like the thought of having her more as a sister than you do as having me as your actual brother." Johnny said in a joking tone and Sue shrugged causing Johnny's smile to fade. Johnny didn't know what else to say and everyone else dropped the subject to get to work on their space mission. Reed had found some new information on the cosmic energy that he had been looking into and they were researching.

**********NORMAL POV**********

I walked in the apartment at 11pm and everyone was still awake working. I was hoping for a relaxing night. I was tired, work was horrible and school didn't make it any better.

"Hey! We were worried. I tried calling you all night." Reed said and I just sighed setting my book bag down.

"I was in class then my professor wanted to have a discussion about my grade in his class and then I had study group." I said and I heard Johnny scoff.
