Part 7

It has been a week since we found out about everyone abilities and from what it seems it only looked like Reed. Sue, Johnny and Ben were affected. Victor was okay. Everyone was released from the hospital and were staying at Reed's for awhile since Reed and I were working together on what actually happened and maybe how to fix everyone. It was late night one night and I was just arriving home from a date and Victor was walking me in.

"I should drop you off here, don't need Reed to see me." Victor said and I shook my head.

"Hey this is my place too. He needs to show me some respect. He moved Sue in years ago and never consulted me. Come in for some coffee." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck as he pulled me close to him. He leaned down and passionately kissed me. As we stood making out for a second the door flew open. We broke apart but still held onto each other, I was standing there looking at Reed.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Don't you have a class in the morning?" Reed asked and I looked at him oddly.

"Yes, in the morning. This is nighttime." I said annoyed.

"Well I think it's time to call it a night." Reed said.

"I am an adult Reed." I said letting Victor go.

"Okay listen I am not going to come between you two. I will just go. Will I see you tomorrow night?" Victor asked and I nodded.

"Dinner at your place." I said and he smiled.

"I need you home tomorrow night." Reed said. I looked at him annoyed then back to Victor.

"Can I stay over after dinner?" I asked and Victor smiled.

"Of course you can." Victor said and leaned in giving me another kiss. Once we broke apart he went to the elevator and I walked into the apartment and Reed slammed the front door shut.

"WHAT THE HELL REED?!" I yelled.

"YOU KNOW WHAT!" Reed yelled. I noticed Sue, Ben and Johnny come in hearing us yelling.

"I was on a date! You can't just interrupt me that like! I never did that to you and Sue! I never would have thought about it! What gives you the right?!" I asked.

"You live under my roof! I have every right to see what is happening outside my door." Reed said and I groaned.

"You knew it was me Reed! I know you don't like Victor and I know you don't like that we are dating but can't you just for one damn minute be happy that I am happy?!" I asked begging and she shook his head.

"I can't Grace, I'm sorry because your happiness is going to lead you to misery and heartache and when it does I will be the first one there to laugh and say I told you so." Reed said and walked away.

"Reed?!" Sue said and followed him. I just stood there looking at Johnny and Ben. I went to my room and grabbed my bookbag and some clothes. I also grabbed some work from my desk. When I walked back out to the living room I shoved the paperwork into Johnny's chest.

"Give these figures to Reed." I said and walked to the door.

"Where are you going?" Ben asked seeing me walk out the door.

"Somewhere other than here. I can't with him right now and I know everyone is judging me for dating Victor so I just don't want to be here." I said and walked out. Johnny groaned and rushed after me.

"Hey, wait!" Johnny said and I shook my head.

"Not now Johnny okay." I said and he sighed.

"I'm not here to be an ass, I am just asking you to not leave. Just ignore your brother and do what makes you happy." Johnny said.
