Part 11

The next morning I woke up still reeling from my kiss with Johnny at the bar. I was hoping he was home today so we could maybe discuss what happened and what it meant. I walked into the kitchen and was stopped in my tracks.

"Johnny! Stop!" The girl squealed with a giggle as John kissed her neck as he stood behind her, hands on her hips. Johnny looked and saw me standing in the doorway. I had tears pricking my eyes, he didn't stop what he was doing and kept kissing the girl.

"Excuse me, can you not. People eat here." I said and Johnny stopped and the girl smiled at me.
"Hi, I'm Erica." She said extending her hand.

"Sorry but not worth learning your name. You wont be around long." I said and poured myself a cup of coffee.

"Hey! Gracie!" Johnny said shocked and I ignored him. The girl seemed shocked. I walked out of the kitchen with my coffee and headed towards my room.

"Cece, stop." Johnny said. I did but saw Reed and Sue walk up.

"Hold this." I said handing Sue my coffee cup and he did. I walked up to Johnny and before he knew what was happening I pulled my arm back and punched him hard in the ribs. Johnny started coughing as I grabbed my cup from Sue and kept walking to my room.
"Gracie?" Reed questioned and I kept walking. Ben saw the whole thing as well and started laughing.

"Can I ask what the hell just happened?" Reed asked.

"Johnny was an ass." Ben said and Johnny glared at him. Sue saw the girl come out from the kitchen and groaned.

"You are lucky she just hurt you or else I would." Sue groaned to Johnny and walked up to the girl and walked her out of the apartment. Ben, Johnny, Sue and Reed all sat in the living room to talk.

"Ben, what's going on with Johnny and Gracie?" Reed asked.

"Well Johnny made a bet with your sister playing darts yesterday that if he won he would kiss her. Well he did win and Reed the kiss he gave Gracie wasn't anything innocent and she seem to enjoy it. Well after he kissed her he ran out of the bar and this was their first interaction.

"And you brought a girl home?!" Sue said and smacked Johnny upside the head.

"You need to make this right." Reed said and Johnny groaned.

"Does anyone care that she punch me and broke a rib?!" Johnny asked and no one cared.

"Fine I will talk to her later." Johnny said and everyone nodded knowing it was smart to let Grace calm down first.

I was sitting in my room listening to music and typing out some handwritten notes when Johnny knocked on my open door.

"Hey, can we talk?" Johnny asked.
"No." I answered not even looking at him.

"Then can you check my side where you punched me? It still hurts." Johnny said and I groaned.

"Let's go to the lab." I said standing up and we headed out of my room. We walked silently to the lab and Johnny laid on the bed and I lifted up his shirt. I saw a bruise were I punched him and I had to bite back a laugh. I grabbed the portable x-ray machine and took some pictures and waited while they loaded on the computer.

"Cece, I 'm sorry." Johnny said and I shook my head.

"Don't Johnny." I said and he groaned.

"What?" Johnny asked.

"Don't apologize and try to act like that kiss didn't happen because we both know it did. I am not going to tell you what I thought about it because I don't want to give you that satisfaction or rejection so just look at it is as it happened, you made good on a bet and that's all it was." I said and Johnny sighed and looked at the ceiling. I heard the computer beep meaning the x-rays were done and appeared on the screen and I looked at them.
"Nothing is broken, just a bruise." I said and he sat up.
