Part 13

A few weeks after the attack with Victor life was back to normal and I was getting ready in my room.

"You going somewhere?" Sue asked seeing me sitting doing make up.

"Yeah, actually I am. A guy from my one classes asked me out for drinks tonight. I figured I would go." I said smiling and Sue gave a half smile but sighed.

"What about you and Johnny?" Sue asked.

"What about me and Johnny? There is nothing there. I have put myself out there enough for him and he keeps turning me down or backing away. I am done with Johnny." I said and Sue sighed.

"Well have a good night tonight and be safe. Also tomorrow is bridesmaid dress shopping. You, me and Alicia." Sue said and I nodded.

"I know, I'm excited." I said and Sue left the room.

*****JOHNNY POV*****

I heard Sue and Cece talking about her having a date and about her putting herself out there for me and I knew she was right. After Sue left her doorway I walked out of my room but didn't stop. I just walked out of the apartment and wanted outside the door for this guy to show up. I was pacing when I heard the elevators door open. Off stepped this guy who was the typical college student, brown spiked hair, slight muscular figure, obviously played a sport. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hey." He said to me and I stepped in his way before he could knock on the door.

"Who are you here for?" I asked.

"Grace, we have a date." The guys said and I shook my head. I started to heat up my body and then I flamed up my whole body freaking the guy out.

"I think you should leave, text her and tell her you changed your mind." Johnny said and the guy panicked and rushed to the elevator. He got on and left. I turned the flaming off and walked back inside. After about 20 minutes Cece came walking out of her bedroom pissed off in sweatpants and a t-shirt.

*****NORMAL POV*****

I was finishing up my make up when my cellphone went off.

>Hey something came up and I don't think this will work out. Sorry to ask you out.<

I looked at my phone annoyed since I knew he was supposed to be picking me up any minute. I got pissed and stood up. I went and changed into some sweatpants and a t-shirt. There was no need to even looking nice anymore. I grabbed a book and went out to the living room and sat on the couch. I saw Johnny sitting there.

"Hair done, make up done but in sweats...are you confused on your attire Cece?" Johnny asked and I groaned.

"Shut up Johnny. My date canceled on me." I said and he sighed.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Johnny said and I huffed a laugh.

"Yeah right." I said.

"Hey, I am trying to be nice." Johnny said and I shook my head.

"Right because that's who you are Johnny. Mister nice guy." I said and he groaned and stood up.

"Maybe I am trying to change Cece but you wont give me the chance." Johnny said and I sighed grabbing his wrist as he went to walk away.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I'm just upset about my date." I said and Johnny sighed and sat down beside me.

"Where is everyone else?" I asked.

"Out to dinner. Ben is out with Alicia and Reed and Sue left right before you came out." Johnny said.

"And you have no plans?" I asked and Johnny sighed.

"No, I wanted to stay in." Johnny said and looked at me and I smiled.
