Part 9

It had been a month and a half since the space mission went horribly wrong and everyone was still at Reeds. The media had caught wind of the 4 of them and their powers, especially after they saved a couple people on a bridge. Sue and Reed came walking out of the lab excited and carrying something. I was sitting with Ben as he quizzed me with flash cards for school and Johnny was with us listening.

"We figured it out." Reed said coming in the room and I held up my hand stopping him as I explained a term Ben had said. Once I was done I looked at Reed and Sue letting Reed continue.

"So Sue and I were talking a couple nights ago and we were thinking that we all needed suits that would work with all of our powers." Reed said and I got up.

"Okay this doesn't concern me." I said getting up and going to leave but Reed extended his arm blocking my path, I turned to look at him.

"You really need to stop doing that in front of me, it makes me want to vomit." I said and he smiled.

"Can you stay? I want you to see the suits once we get them on." Reed said.

"Oh good now we can also test how hot Johnny can go." I said and looked at me wiggling his eyebrows.

"Come on Cece we have discussed this before, you want me just ask." Johnny said as Sue threw his suit at him harder than needed.

"In the chamber Johnny. I need to see how hot your fire can go." I said and he shook his head.

"Whatever you say Cece." Johnny said and he left to change. Once Johnny came back out he was covering himself up and I laughed.

"Reed, these suits show off everything!" Johnny said.

"Then you should have no problem Johnny, you have nothing to hide." I said and he glared as me and brought a fireball up in his hand.

"Don't Johnny!" Sue yelled and he sent the fireball towards me but I ducked. I looked at him as Reed stretched and redirected it to water. I looked at Johnny in shock.

"Are you out of your fucking mind Storm?!" I screamed and rushed him to him and pushed him.

"You don't fireball someone!" I pushed again pissed.

"Gracie!" Reed yelled and I stopped.

"Fuck you Johnny." I said and walked towards the front door but then headed outside to the balcony. Johnny sighed.

"I'll go." Johnny said.

"No, you stay. I'll go." Sue said and came walking out. She had suit already on so she turned invisible and walked out quietly.

"I know you are here Sue, you don't need to be invisible. I'm not going to hurt you." I said and she giggled making herself visible again.

"How do you sense me?" Sue asked and I shrugged as I leaned over the railing.

"I don't know. I just do." I said and she sighed.

"You and Johnny have been going at each other for days now, is there a problem?" Sue asked.

"Yeah! We are cooped up in here! Reed doesn't want me leaving since people know I am his sister so I am having to take all my classes online. I haven't been able to see Alicia in weeks and I miss my friend. I just want a normal night out." I said and Sue sighed.

"Let me talk to Reed okay?" Sue said and headed back inside when I gave a small nod. I was alone for a couple more minutes when I heard someone speak up.

"You want to get out of here?" Johnny asked and I groaned hearing his voice.

"Johnny..." I said and he sighed.
"Sorry about the fireball but it's this damn cabin fever and everything. So I asked again, you want to get out of here?" Johnny asked and I knew he meant sneak out. I looked at him and he was dressed and held out his hand for me to take it. I smiled at him and took his hand we snuck out of the apartment.
