It had been about week since the whole karaoke night happened and I had since been constantly reminded of my drunken song to Johnny. Not only by Reed, Sue and Ben but people at school. I was sitting in class when my cellphone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out to see a message from Reed.

>Do you work tonight?< Reed asked.

>Yeah, I picked up a late shift tonight. Everything okay?< I asked.

>Are you sure you have to work tonight? I would much rather you be home.< Reed answered.

"Miss Richards, is there something more important than you education on your phone?" My professor asked calling my attention back to class.

"No Professor Collins, I'm sorry." I said and she went back to teaching. My phone kept going off with text from Reed.

>Gracie, answer me!<

>Don't ignore me I am thinking something wrong.<

>Gracie come on!<

And I kept getting text like that popping up on my phone

"Miss Richards! Again with the phone?! Is there a problem you need to take care of? You really can't afford to not being paying attention!" Professor Collins said angry and I sighed.

"I really am sorry Professor. I will put it in my bag." I said and placed my phone in my backpack. I groaned wanting to know what was going on but exams were coming up and I couldn't take a chance of leaving class. Once class was over I walked into the hallway and found Reed, Sue and Johnny waiting outside the door to my class.

"What the hell?!" I asked confused. I noticed Johnny watching some of the girls and Sue punched his arm.

"We need to talk to you, in private." Sue said and I sighed.

"Follow me." I said and walked down the hallways and went into a study room.

"I have another class in 20 minutes that I cant miss. Please make this fast." I said and Johnny scoffed.

"You think I wanted to come down here?" Johnny asked and I groaned.

"Shut up Johnny. We don't have time for you to be an idiot." Sue said and looked at me.

"Listen, we panicked when you stopped answering Reed or looking at the texts." Sue said.

"I was in class and my professor called me out. I had to stop." I said and they sighed. I looked between the 3 of them.

"What's going on?" I asked confused.

"Listen, are you sure you have to work tonight?" Reed asked.

"Yes, I do...why?" I asked.

"Seems like your ex-boyfriend is wanting to cause problems." Johnny said and I sighed.
"What did Victor do?" I asked and Reed groaned.

"Just subtle hints about destroying us and the city. I just want you safe." Reed said and I rolled my eyes.

"Guys, Victor isn't a threat." I said and they sighed.

"We know but we know one sure fire way to hurt us would be to get to you." Reed said and I just shook my head.

"Victor doesn't care about me anymore and I don't care about him. I am not letting him rule my life anymore. I did that once and it almost lost me all of you. I am not doing that again. I will finish up school and go to work then come home." I said and they just half smiled. I hugged Reed sensing he needed one.
