Part 22

It had been 3 months since the party and I decided to take the job and work with Reed and Sue on figurations and double-checking work. I was sitting rubbing my head because there was something I couldn't figure out.

"Hey you, why so tense?" I heard someone say and they placed their hands on my shoulders and I sighed knowing it was Johnny as he started rubbing my shoulders and I moaned.

"Hey torch." I said calling him his nickname I started using, leaned back and kissed Johnny. It was a passionate kiss and I moaned. Johnny and I had yet to sleep together, he wanted to wait and be an actual relationship knowing we had to lot to work through trust issue wise on my part with him. Once we broke apart he looked at everything I was working on.

"You want to take a lunch break?" Johnny asked and I sighed.
"I really should but Hager wants these figurations by 3pm." I said and Johnny groaned.

"Sweetie, you have been working late every night for that man. Tell him you need a break." Johnny said and I nodded.

"Johnny just let me finish this okay." I said and Johnny nodded.

"I will go pick us up some lunch and we will eat here. I will go see if Sue and Reed want anything." Johnny said starting to walk out of the lab.

"Where are they?" Johnny asked.

"Sue's office, said they had to talk about something." I said and Johnny nodded and continued to walk out and I went back to working.

*****JOHNNY POV*****

I walked down to Sue's office and I heard her and Reed talking as I approached.

"Reed, it's just not something I want to discuss right now and it may even be a discussion we should have with the team." Sue said.

"Why do they have to be in every decision we make? This is about you and me." Reed said.
"Right but we are they Fantastic 4. If we do this what about Ben and Johnny, they wont want to be the dynamic duo." Sue said.

"No but let's face it Johnny has always been a one man show and wanted to be on his own." Reed said.

"Come on don't talk about my brother and your sisters boyfriend that way." Sue said and Reed groaned.

"That's the other thing maybe with him dating my sister now she will get him to calm down. He needs to grow up and think about settling down himself. He isn't a kid anymore and Gracie wont put it with it for long. She is an adult she needs to make him become one." Reed said and Sue groaned.
"Stop Reed." Sue said.

"We just need to discuss with the team about wanting to hang it up and have a family. This isn't something to throw around lightly." Sue said. I had heard enough and I stormed out of the apartment.

"Johnny?!" Cece called after me seeing me rush out but I didn't stop I just kept going.

*****NORMAL POV*****

I was sitting in the lab when I heard someone come storming down the hallway and I looked to see Johnny rushing to the door.

"Johnny?!" I called after him but he didn't stop and kept walking. I ran after him and he was getting on the elevator and I jumped on before the doors could close.

"What is going on?" I asked Johnny and he didn't say anything.

"Please talk to me." I said because I had never seen him this upset before. I had seen him angry but this was different. This seemed like a mixture of a lot of emotions rolled into one.

"Can we go to your place and talk? Is Alicia home?" Johnny asked and I shook my head.

"She is at Ben's this week." I said and Johnny nodding knowing Alicia was splitting her time. We spent the rest of the elevator ride and car ride in silence. Once we got home we headed to my room and sat down.
