I pulled the door almost fully shut but open enough so I can still hear inside the room incase Ruby wakes up. Gabriel was stood there. "Be honest. How do you think I am. Stereotypically. Forget say rumors you've heard." He asked me. It was so random and weird.

I thought for a second. Forgot all the rumora of how dangerous he is. How full of rage he is. The fact he's killed at least 100 people in a year. I then responded saying, "A player. I think your a player.. and the guy I'd watch pour my drink at a bar after flirting too make sure he doesn't spike it.." I was ashamed almost of my answer.

I couldn't tell how he was feeling. It was unclear. "Okay.." he began speaking, "Well I want you too feel safe with me and eventually trust me with your life... I'm not going to hurt you. That's not how I roll. I'll try and prove that too you everyday. For as long as we live."
I didn't say anything for a moment. What if he was lying. And he does hit and abuse women?

I heard a voice call me. It was coming from mine and Ruby's room. I turned and opened the door, she was lying awake looking confused and scared. "You okay Rubes?" I looked at her sympathetically while walking in slowly.

She nodded her head but her face said it all. "Come here.." I hummed and before I couldn't do anything she jumped too her feet and hugged me. I kept repeating how it would all work out in the end.

"How about.. Gabriel's outside.. so maybe we should all go sit down and get too know eachother, mateo included obviously. Sound good?" I pulled away from the hug as I spoke, the girl sniffed before nodding her head. I began walking out the room. Gabriel was still stood there thankfully.

"We where hoping that all 4 of us could sit down and get too know eachother, Is Mateo hear?" I suggested my idea hopefully too Gabriel. He nodded his head and gestured for us too follow him.

We walked up one more flight of stairs and the boy opened the door too am office where Mateo stood opposite a man. It didn't take long for me to realise he's the one who shot my mother. The boys dad. I gulped and pulled Ruby close too me in fear she'll get hurt.

"Its okay Victoria.. Mateo the girls where thinking we should try and get too know eachother more. You got an hour or two?" Gabriel looked at his brother who looked at his watch as he nodded.

We all went down into the Lounge where me and Ruby sat so close we where almost sitting on eachother. Both the boys laughed at us for a millisecond. "You'd think we where we trying to kill them!" Mateo joked but only him and Gabriel laughed, "Damn tough crowd!" Matteo snickered making Ruby chuckle the tiniest bit. "One down one too go!" The boys high fived making ne laugh too.

"So you don't laugh at my joke but laugh at that? Rude much!" Mateo pretend to be hurt also making us laugh again. "You two look and act super mean and rude why are you all of a sudden being all smiley?" Ruby asked curiously. Both boys shrugged unsure on why.

God knows how long had passed but it felt rather quick. Our Conversation was interrupted by Gabriel's phone ringing. He rolled his eyes and walked out the room too answer it. Not even a few seconds later he half sprinted back in and peered through the blinds taking a look outside. It was then that I had realised. My family was outside!

Both boys suddenly grabbed ne and Ruby, "we're not going to hurt either of you we just need to scare them off." Mateo warned us as we where pulled out the front of the house. I felt a gun being put too my head. Great. This was totally safe.

"TAKE A STEP CLOSER AND THEY'RE DEAD!!!" Gabriel screamed at them all. I saw my brothers and father. They all looked like they where in pain. Not just physically but mentally. For some weird reason it only just hit me that mum was dead. I guess it just hadn't fully processed.

"Give me back my sisters!" Harrison yelled back at the boy. He remained still as my eyes began to fill with tears. I was trying my hardest not too cry. But it wasn't enough. Before I knew it I had broke down sobbing. I fell too my knee's. My own mother the one who raised me was gone.

Mateo and Gabriel exchanged a confused look as Ruby looked at me concerned. "Victoria? What's wrong?" He whispered while crouching down beside me. I couldn't speak I was sobbing so much. My brothers saw this as an opportuinty too save us.

Both of them began sprinting towards me and Ruby as my father stood ready to give orders too the men they brought with them. Gabriel quickly stood infront of me and started firing at them. My big brothers..

I found the strength in mysekf too jump up and point the gun away from Harrison and Hugo just in time. "Please.." I was ready to get down on my hands and knees and beg.

For the boys who stood up too the bully's. Made me laugh. Played with me when I was sad. Cheated in hide and seek. Danced with me. Taught me how to shoot a gun.

Gabriel must've felt bad because he lowered his gun. Meanwhile even more people had began too charge towards the house as Mateo and the boys gaurds tried too fight them off all while Mateo was keeping Ruby next too him.
"Stop." The boy beckoned. When no one listened he repeated himself but loud enough so everyone could here.

"You will not be taking these girls home but we will find out an agreement!" He explained while yelling at everyone. I saw my brothers and dad pass round looks trying to decide what to do.

"How do we know you'll keep them safe?!" Hugo repelled I was still silently crying, everything was so crazy right now. My mum was dead. I've been kiddnapped. I'm apparently having too marry this dude. Why wouldn't I be an emotional wreck!

"Because! That's not what we do! My father - maybe! But not us!" Mateo replied to Hugo. Ruby had slowly began to wander over too me and buried her head in my shoulder from fear.

"Look how scared Ruby is!!!" My father screamed, "She's better off at home with us!!! So is Victoria!" My father barked seeing ne and Ruby hugging eachother. This infuriated me for some reason. She was clearly scared because she doesn't want our family to get hurt so being here is stressful for her.

"Dad! She's not scared because of them! We were actually all getting along a bit before you came! She's scared because she doesn't want you or the twins too get hurt!" I snapped at my father as I started walking towards them. I was expecting Gabriel or Mateo too grab me but they didn't, "so no one is going too be fighting! We'll make an agreement so Ruby and I can have stability! Not waking up wondering if one of you are going to attack!" I continued my sentence.

My family stayed silent. Any year now dad. He finnaly nodded his head after what felt like centuries so I began walking back too Ruby. She was shaking from fear still.

We where all sat round a table the silence in the room making everything eerie and tense.

"I don't want my daughters here. They should be at home." My father broke the silence. He was clearly angry by his voice tone.

"Well I need a wife so I can take over for me father. He's very sick at the moment. He's not going too get better. And the first 2 people in line after my father need wives in order too take over. That way if I was to die in conflict mateo could take over." Gabriel spat at my father. All of them where frustrated and tense.
