Chapter-15

Naina's POV:

I woke up to the sound of crashing and growling. It was coming from Xander's office in our house. Yes, he has his own office in the house. Isn't that cool! Anyways, coming to the point, I don't know why but I am feeling angry also anxious. The strange thing though, these are not my feelings. Swallowing the anxiety, I went to the office and knocked on the door. Suddenly, all the growling and the crashing sounds stopped at once. John opened the door and asked "Naina" as soon as a growl was heard somewhere from the room, he corrected himself. "Luna, this isn't the best timing for you to be here. Just go to your room and please stay there. We will talk to you later." But I wasn't having any of it. I stepped into the room confidently and saw Xandy at the farthest corner of the room with his back to me. I don't know why but my mind was screaming to go to him. It seems like he needed me the most at this time. As I was walking towards him, a man I have never seen before says "Luna, I think it's best for you not go near him now." 

I ignored him and went to Xandy. As I was about to touch him, he gave me a small growl as if to warn me. But I was not having any of it. As soon as I touched him, he whimpered. That sound broke my heart. I hugged him from behind. He tensed for a moment but relaxed immediately. He slowly turned around without breaking the hug and hugged me tightly as if I was gonna disappear into  thin air. I frowned at this thought and looked at his face. That is when I noticed that his eyes had turned into pitch black with golden swirls. I gasped and was about to step out from the embrace when he whimpered again "MATE", he said in a deep husky voice. "It's his wolf you are talking to", John said from behind. I was stunned to hear this. I didn't know that it was possible to bring out your wolf whilst in the human form. I carefully brought my hand to his cheek. He immediately nuzzled his face into my palm and sighs as if it was calming. He gently took my arm and guided me towards his chair. He sat down on it and pulled me so I was sitting on his lap.

I blushed furiously and he chuckled. "Hello beautiful mate, I'm Lucifer, the wolf to this idiot human" he introduced himself. I couldn't help but giggle at this. "So beautiful, I can hear you laugh forever" he said in the same husky voice. I blushed and hid my face into his chest to which he just chuckled. He started sniffing me and I can tell he was completely relaxed now. 

"Naina" he called. I looked up to see Xander with his beautiful ocean blue eyes. He smiled brightly and said "Lucifer is whipped Naina. You have him wrapped around your fingers" to which I just laughed. Hearing this John and the other man also chuckled lowly. It was then I remembered that we had audience. I looked up seeing both of them smirking at us. "Stop it" my mate warned them to which they laughed out loud. I asked Xandy "Who is that?" pointing to the stranger. "Oh this is Andrew, my gamma" he said. "Gamma as in the third in command, right?" Andrew beamed and said "Alas luna! yes I'm the third in command to this pack. I'm in charge of all the training the warriors in the pack. It's pleasure to meet you in person finally" Andrew said extending his hand. I smiled and shook his hand "nice to meet you too." "So what's the matter? What made you lose control and lucifer to take over?" I asked Xandy. He tensed and sighed. "I guess it's time to tell you" and started.............
