Epilogue

Xander's POV:
MEANWHILE AT THE HUNTER'S BASE:
It was difficult to leave my mate at the pack all alone. The look of disappointment she gave me while I left was like a stab to my heart. I knew she was capable in every aspect but I couldn't endanger her life. When we left the pack, we went straight to the location violet told us. The fae warriors and Vampires combined together took out all the hunters who were in the trees as archers due to their stealthy skills. When the coast was clear, we went inside. Long story short, it took us an entire day to finish all the hunters and rogues even we were huge in numbers. They had no chance as they were outnumbered. We were all tired but kept going on. By the time, we finished killing every hunter in the vicinity, it was a day and a half. We were covered in blood of both humans and rogues. Luckily, no one in our army was severely injured. There were some cuts and bruises which would heal quickly. But the most disappointing thing was we were not able to find any victims and that professor of my angel. I swear when I get my hands on him, I will make his life a living hell. Soon, we all entered an underground tunnel which was eerie to say. There were cries coming from the opposite side of the tunnel. We all rushed towards the sound to find a huge room with all the victims there. It was filled with the stench of chemicals and their blood. They were all looking like corpse, some were unconscious, some were sitting in a daze. As we look further, we found a sobbing Sophie and shouting Char. John immediately rushed to them. As soon as he touched their cuffs, he was shocked. "The cuffs are connected to electric circuit" Sophie whispered with tears in her eyes. Seeing her mate, she tried to hug him but the cuffs were preventing her. My heart broke at the sight of their bloodied and dirty faces. They were being treated like fucking animals. I searched the room to find the electric circuit connected to the cuffs and smashed it. As soon as it was collapsed, all the cuffs opened automatically. Everyone's cry of relief reached my ears. When I turned back, John was hugging Sophie while Andrew was comforting a crying Char. "Alright everyone, time to get out of here" I said. The warriors helped the victims who couldn't stand properly and we all were getting ready to go out. I lifted Emily in my arms; Andrew carried Char while Sophie was with John. As soon as we reached the door, it closed automatically and a voice came out of the speaker.
"Ah! Alpha Xander, how nice to see you here. I expected you to come here later, but that's ok. We will be very hospitable to you even you are uninvited. Yeah, it is not nice that you destroyed my army. They were just following my orders. Now your punishment is to stay here forever. And yes, don't even try breaking the walls because they are made of alloys consisting of every metal of the earth. So even with all your strengths combined, you couldn't break free. And when you are all weak, we would start the experiments again. Meanwhile, I will strengthen my army to tackle the supernatural council" the voice from the speaker said laughing loudly. We all tried to break the wall, shifted and clawed at it, dragons threw fire balls but not even a scratch was formed on it. Even the witches tried to create a portal and demons tried going to underworld but it was no use. It was as if, the room was immune to all of us. 'Moon goddess, please help us', I prayed silently to the heavens above.
Naina's POV:
When we reached there, we were shocked see the corpses on the floor. There were hundreds, if not thousands on the floor. Ana, I and Linda were leading the group. We reached an underground canal which lead to a closed room. "They are in there" Linda whispered. We tried everything to open the door but nothing worked. "May be it is being controlled by someone else" one of the warriors suggested. We sent all the warriors to different directions to look for anything to help to open the door. I asked Ana to perform some location spell to locate our professor because I didn't see his dead body earlier. I know that the bastard is the one responsible for this entire ruckus. It showed us the path and we three reached a control room to find the bastard sitting there sipping some juice seeing all victims in the room. When he heard us entering, he turned towards us. He was shocked to us there; I guess he wasn't expecting us. He covered his fear with a bright smile "oh my! Hi there girls. Naina, my favorite student, what are you doing here?" he asked in a panicked voice. "I came here for my mate and friends professor", I spat the word like poison. "Oh come on child, you really can't love that beast very much to risk your own life. They are all abominations on earth, they are all beasts who needed to be eradicated from the earth for our safety", he shouted at me. His words enraged me and Linda let out a loud growl. Even Ana produced fire balls in her hand. His face turned pale before he charged at me with an enraged expression but before he could even touch me, Linda lifted him into air by holding his neck. "Not so fast, you piece of shit, you have already harmed many people and I would be damned if you hurt my family too", she said growling loudly with glowing eyes. She hit him hard on his head so that he falls unconscious. Meanwhile Ana fiddled with the controls and somehow opened the trap door of the room. As soon as we reached there, we were tackled by our friends. Xandy was very happy to see his sister along with us. We all went to our homes and professor was sent to the council for deciding his fate.
NINE YEARS LATER:
Xander's POV:
"Angela, Nick come down, the breakfast is ready", I call my beautiful kids. They come running down towards me and settle down in their places. "Hi daddy", both of them greet me at the same time. The twins are exact replica of their mother except for their blue eyes. Nine years earlier, when we returned to our pack, the council took the bastard to decide his fate. All the hunter groups were destroyed within months. Everything was alright, after a few months we found out that my angel was expecting. I was on cloud nine when I heard this news. When the twins were born, we named them Angela and Nicholas. They are our bundles of joy. I got out of my trance when my angel calls me from upstairs. I look towards her struggling to get downstairs with her pregnant belly. Few months back, we found out that my angel was again pregnant with a boy. I was very happy. Even the twins were ecstatic. I rushed upstairs to help her down. I carried her bridal style and made her sit on the table. Today it was Camilla's birthday. Camilla is John and Sophie's child. Even Ana and Vincent had a boy. His name is Darren. All the kids were best friends. They are eagerly waiting to meet each other at cam's birthday party. Meanwhile Linda came in with Char. The day we were rescued, we found that Linda and Char were mates and Andrew also found his mate among one of the victims. They were beyond happy. Sadly Andrew's mate was unable to conceive due to some unethical experiments done during her time at the base. She went down when they learnt this, but luckily we all helped her and they decided to adopt a child. Linda and Char also decided the same. At the part, we all gathered for dinner. Seeing all the happy faces, I smile and thank the moon goddess for giving me a happy life with lovely friends and family. My angel grabs my hand under the table and mouths 'I love you.' I lean down and whisper in her ear "I love you too, my smart Luna" to which she blushes. My angel I really love you so much and I will give anything to keep you happy, I thought to myself.
