Chapter-6

I was broken from my trance when he said the word mate. That voice sent shivers down my spine. The voice was very manly which thoroughly suited the Greek god before me. I could just spend all my life staring into those ocean blue eyes and hearing his words. He remained there at the door looking at me. It was like he was in the same trance as me. It was as if he is looking directly into my soul. Luckily for me Char ran to him and hugged him saying " I missed you bro". He reluctantly turned his head to Char and said "I missed you too princess" with a smile. And let me tell you just seeing his smile my heart swoon with happiness and warmth. What the hell is wrong with me? I was never affected this much by a man in my life that too a stranger. Hell, I didn't even bothered getting myself a boyfriend thinking it is a waste of time. But this man in front of me is making me all giddy, he is making me feel things I never felt before and the strange part is we have not even talked yet.

He then started walking towards me. He reached me in two long strides and let me tell you he is really tall. I had to literally crane my neck upwards to see him. He said " I see you are all better now, Hi! My name is Xander, Xandy for short. It is really nice to meet you". saying that he extended his hand. I was transfixed by his eyes, they look even more alluring when he is this close. He cleared his throat and I cursed myself for getting lost in those eyes again. He smirked at me which brought me out of my daze. I straightened myself and shook his hand saying " Hello! I'm Naina and thankyou for saving me earlier". He took my hand and kissed the back of my palm saying "my pleasure". I blushed furiously by his gesture and took my hand back. The feeling of his lips on my skin was ecstatic and it left a tingling sensation behind. 'Oh my god! get yourself together Naina ', I scolded myself.

John and Sophie greeted him as well. He went to his room to freshen up. While he was in his room, I was contemplating what the hell happened to me earlier. I mean I have met many boys during my life time but no one ever had this much effect on me. I mean he's charming, no doubt in that, His mesmerizing blue eyes, his Greek god like body, his manly voice, his gentle touch and his amazing lips, I wonder how his lips would feel on mine. Wait what! I did not just think like that, what's happening to me? I think I might have hit my head a little too hard. Yes, that's the only reason. Right?

Hearing a sound, I saw that Xander has changed into casual wear. He was wearing sweat pants and a loose blue shirt, looks like he just showered because his hair was a little wet. It looked very soft, I wonder how it would feel if I run my hands through his hair. Seeing him in casual wear, only one thought occurred to my mind, He is so hot! It should be illegal for someone to be this handsome. I checked whether I was drooling because I didn't want to embarrass myself. Thankfully I'm not. He looked at me and smiled. Instantly, I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Sophie called us to have dinner in the dining room. Before he could approach me and I get lost in his eyes again, I hurried into the dining room. At the one end of the table, John was seated, beside him was Sophie. Char sat next to them. She ushered me to sit opposite to her which I did. Xander came and sat at the head of the table which was just beside me. He smelled so nice! He gave me a wide smile and my heart fluttered. The maids served the dinner and I started eating with only one thought in my mind. Oh god! this is gonna be a long dinner.
