NAINA's POV:
Today is the last day of the college, I can't believe that it's been two years since I have come from India for my post-graduation. Oh yes, sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Naina Shikavath. I am 25 now. I lost my family three years ago in a car accident, and now I live with my uncle's family here in New York. I came here to complete my Masters in pharmacy (Formulation department). For now, I stay in a small apartment near our university with my roomie Anabelle (Ana as I call her) who is very sweet and caring. I do a part time job in the nearby restaurant as a waitress, not that I am poor or something but for accompanying Anabelle there, and yeah for time pass. I dare to say I am smart and very good at my studies; I have passed my masters with highest grades. I am looking forward for the camp which starts in four days. It is like a workshop kind of thing which can be very useful for my career and also the exciting thing is that the campaign is near the forest, thrilling right! For now, I am going to my uncle's house.
These four days were a blast, I have totally enjoyed with my cousins, went on a mini tour of New York, they are really fun to be around. Today is the first day of our campaign, sadly Ana couldn't come due to some family issues. Let's just hope these two weeks are bearable.
Wow! These two weeks were awesome, I have learnt many things and surprisingly all the people were very friendly. Don't get me wrong, I am a very friendly person but sometimes a few can be rude and impolite. Today is the last day of our camp. Everyone are busy in packing their luggage, I have finished packing and started going into the woods for some fresh air.
After walking aimlessly for hours, I realized that it is almost dawn and no need to say that the woods can be dangerous at nights. So, I have started going back, when suddenly I heard a twig snapping. Generally, people say that we should not look back when we hear sounds from the bushes, but my curiosity got the best of me and I looked back. I was shocked to see two giant snarling wolves looking at me. I started screaming, and started running back. I stumbled upon a log and fell down, my phone breaking in the process. I kept running, but I tripped on a large boulder and twisted my ankle. I couldn't run any more. This was it; this is my end. One of the wolves lifted its paw to strike me and I closed my eyes waiting for the pain. When I couldn't feel anything, I opened my eyes to see the wolves are unconscious and a rather God like looking handsome man Infront of me saying something. All the adrenaline left my body and I felt myself losing consciousness. I was lifted into his warm embrace before my world faded into darkness.
