Narrator's POV
As the night comes, hues of dark replaced the sky along with bright dotted yellows. Nari is still up in her bedroom, but not because she is studying, more because of the principle of the people around her, contradicting hers. She knew that people have got to respect other people's belief, but when their belief is something that can cause havoc, she knew it should be changed.
The seven men have gathered in the meeting room. Jeonghan's the last one to enter, and he made sure to close the door, knowing what happened last time. He sat beside Joshua, who sat beside Seungcheol, sitting on the head of the long table.
"All right, so it appears that there must've been something suspicious going on. Soonyoung, would you mind telling us what you saw this morning," Seungcheol commanded as Soonyoung proceeded.
"I dropped Nari off to her school and there was this sketchy car following us. I did hide and kept an eye of it. A man got out of it and he was unrecognizable," he proceeded to distributing papers, containing the photograph of the man.
"Is he on the list that Mr. Jung gave us?" Jihoon asked as he took a glance at the man.
"Strangely, he wasn't" Soonyoung answered.
"Well then, who is he?" Wonwoo asked.
"I feel like I saw the same man when I fetched Nari earlier," Jeonghand muttered as he furrowed his eyebrows, looking intently at the photograph.
Seungcheol turned to Jeonghan upon hearing that.
"Seungcheol, did Mr. Jung tell you more aside from his clients?" Joshua asked.
"No," Seungcheol shook his head.
"He told me that the only problem he's got are his clients' opponent in the courtroom," Everyone fell in silence, but then a thud sound was made when Joshua had slammed a thick folder.
"Here's the list of people that Mr. Jung said we should watch out for," Seungcheol proceeded to skim through the documents in the folder, trying to find if the face of a man in the photograph match one of the people in the list.
Jung Hyunsuk made a list of people who are threatening him due to him, fighting for his clients' right. The list was made in order for them to protect Nari from.
"So, that's like the black list, huh," Jihoon muttered.
"More like a Death Note," Junhui laughed, but everyone either gave him a look or a glare.
"What? It was funny!" he justified.
"No, not a good time," Wonwoo pursed his lips as he shook his head. Seungcheol thought about it thoroughly before putting down the folder and leaning on his seat, crossing his arms,
"What if there is something that Mr. Jung isn't telling us?" Joshua asked.
"Agree! What if there's more people than these clients' opponents?!" Soonyoung exclaimed, as Joshua turned to Seungcheol with a concern expression.
Seungcheol met Joshua's eyes, and he knew that he is ought to do something because of Joshua's expression. "You know what to do," Joshua muttered.
"Josh, I don't. You're the right hand here, so tell me what to do," Everyone in the room fell into silence, all eyes on Joshua as they anticipated for the adviser's answer.
Seungcheol already foresaw what his right hand is about to say, but chose to tell him that he doesn't, as he wants a more clear as a crystal plan, coming right from Joshua's lips.
