For the passed four days, I focused on my study even though I know to myself that I'm being left behind, but I've got no choice because it's either I catch up to it or I just fail.

I rolled to my side of bed upon hearing my phone made a ring. I grabbed the latter from the night stand and answered the call. "Hello," I lazily greeted.

"Hey, are we gonna hang out or what?" Mingyu asked.

"Yeah...but I still have readings left,"

"So am I, why don't I just bring my books? so like we can study together,"

"Sure, that's a good idea!"

"Okay! I'm on my way to your house now,"

"Wait, I thought at your house?" I furrowed my eyebrows as I stood up from my bed.

"What? we never talked about that. Besides, I've already asked your dad for the new address of your house and he gave me permission duh,"

Right, I almost forgot that Mingyu has got that kind of bond with my dad. Mingyu's a social butterfly and he pretty much make friends wherever he come and he's a good guy which is why my dad trusts him a lot, aside from that reason, my dad is friend with his dad.

"Wait, Mingyu--"

"Bye, see ya!" I groaned as I tossed my phone on the bed. I dragged my feet to the bathroom and proceeded dressing up.

Right after that, I went downstairs and told the boys that I've got a visitor. However, it seems that they've already know it since some of them were cleaning.

"So who's this Mingyu, huh?" Junhui smirked.

"My friend in law school," I responded as he nudged my shoulders with his.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I'm so tired of people thinking we're a couple,"

Some people would think we're a couple, but we're not. Mingyu and I are bestfriends, we're close but we wouldn't date one another.

I walked back and forth in the foyer, anxious. However, the sound of the door bell made me flinched. I walked towards the door and opened it, greeted by a tall figure in a beige trench coat, as he held a small box in his hand.

"Nari!" He exclaimed, enthusiastically as he gave me a hug.

In my peripheral vision, I saw Junhui. He was smirking as he leaned against the wall, arms crossed. He gave me a 'Ah-I-See, a-friend-huh' look which I ignored.

"Hey," I smiled as we let go. Mingyu's eyes lingered around the mansion as I let him come in.

"You've got a nice house!" He complimented in awe as a gap formed in his mouth.

"Y-Yeah, let's go," I grabbed his wrist and proceeded to dragging him to the library upstairs where we can just study or talk about random things.

"Why'd your dad chose to move you to a fancy mansion instead of sending you to U.S like he did last time?" He asked as we sat down in vacant desk, across one another; books, notebooks and highlighters were scattered on top.

"Well, he gave me a choice and I chose to stay here because being in the U.S made me feel sick last time. Like, being away from my dad and knowing he's in danger is just overwhelming and the anxiety is just up high,"
