Narrator's POV
"Pass me the salt," Jeonghan obliged and did pass the latter to Seungcheol who sat at the head of the table.
Jeonghan, Joshua, Seungcheol, Wonwoo and Nari sat in the dining area, eating their dinner in silence. The clanging of utensils is the only thing that filled the dining area, it was partly awkward since there's still some tension between the high trinity.
The tension's here bizzare, I should've just gone to bed. - Nari thought to herself as she took a sip from the glass of water.
The silence was broken upon the loud barge of the door of the foyer which caught all their attention. Soonyoung came rushing inside the dining area, a hand drenched in blood as he breathed for air, greedily. "Wonwoo, I need you right now," he panted.
The bespectacled man immediately stood up, followed by Joshua, Jeonghan and Seungcheol. "Why? What happened?" All of them trailed behind Soonyoung who went to the living room.
Nari being curious and confuse herself, she silently followed them and peeked through the living room. In there, Junhui laid on the sofa, as he held onto his lower stomach that was bleeding red. Nari's eyes widened as she covered her mouth that had let out a gasp.
"All right, what do you need, Wonwoo?" Joshua asked, determined to lend a hand.
"The medical kit, alcohol, an IV bag, needle, cloth and surgical gloves and mask. All of it are in my room," Joshua obliged and as he made his way to exit the living room, he made eye contact with Nari.
"You should go to your room, little red. You don't wanna see this," he coaxed.
Nari took one last glance and she made eye contact with Junhui, who smiled lightly before closing his eyes. "Damnit, Jun, don't sleep on me," Wonwoo cussed as he stifle a sigh.
"Jihoon, please call an ambulance while I try to stop the bleeding here," Jihoon did oblige.

The ambulance did came and Junhui had no choice but to get to hospital as he lost a lot of blood along the way home. If he hadn't lost blood, he could be just lying down in his bedroom, resting.
"Is he okay?" Nari asked as he approached Soonyoung who entered the mansion, right after seeing Wonwoo off who chose to accompanied Junhui.
"He will be," he smiled reassuringly as he walked past her.
Nari still could not process what just happened after all it's such a black swan. A mundane, peaceful dinner interrupted by the sudden news of Junhui being injured. The lady took a deep breath as she made her way upstairs.
"Don't worry about him," she halted upon hearing Seungcheol spoke. She looked over her shoulder only to find the man, standing by the foyer.
"This usually happens whenever there's a crucial mission we're tasked to do," Nari furrowed her eyebrows.
"Getting stab on the body every year is not usual," she reciprocated.
"Well it is, for us people who's in the underworld," Nari sighed as she rolled her eyes and proceeded to making her way to her room.
She shut the door, leaning against its frame. Her legs weaken as she fell onto her knees which she hugged to her chest. The only source of light in her dimmed room is the stars and moon by her window which she stared at.
I already had a hard time processing the abduction last time and now Junhui got stab, and even closed his eyes right in front of me. Could this week get any better? Everything is terrifying me - she though to herself.

It's another day to school, Nari, as usual barely got enough sleep due to overwhelming thoughts that kept her up all-night long. "Last night, judge Kim Sochul who has been working at the supreme court, was found dead..."
The loud volume of the news filled the living room and it could even be heard by the staircase when Nari got down. She approached Soonyoung in the living room and told him: "Let's go now,"
"But you haven't eaten,"
"But I wanna go right now," she demanded which Soonyoung was taken a back.
"O-Okay, fine,"

The car ride was silent, but Soonyoung blasted some music in the car and sang along with it from time to time as he drove to Nari's school. Meanwhile, Nari felt uncomfortable because how can someone be this calm when someone just got stab.
"We're here," Soonyoung announced. Nari didn't budge and hop out of the car. She saw him off and made sure he's gone before she called for a cab.

She soon reached the hospital, she asked for Junhui's room which she immediately went to. As soon as she entered, Junhui smiled and greeted her "Oh hey, little red," the man sat on his bed, wearing a hospital gown as a needle was inserted on his wrist, connected to the IV bag.
"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as Nari sat on the chair, beside his bed.
"I-I am, but my class got cancelled last minute," she lied.
She skipped her tax law class just to visit him.
"Uh-huh, what brings you here?" Junhui asked as he proceeded to flip through the pages of the magazine he held in his lap.
"Just to visit you, of course," Nari responded as Junhui chuckled.
"Aww, little red misses me?" he ruffled her hair which startled her.
"Don't worry I'll be fine, it's just a stab on the lower stomach. No vital organs were harmed, I should be fine after two to three months of rest," he reassured. There was silence between the two for a moment not until the door opened.
"Bought some foo—Oh Nari, why are you here?" The man in a trench coat asked with his deep voice as h entered, with two bags of food in his hands.
"O-Oh classes got cancelled last minute, so I just decided to pay him a visit," Nari explained. Wonwoo and Jihoon did bought the lie.
"So, how are you holding up, Jun?" Jihoon asked as he and Wonwoo began to take out the food from the bags.
"I'm fine. I mean, I'm like a fucking magnet," Junhui trailed off.
"I attract objects like knives and of course people. Even men fall for me," he joked around as he flipped his imaginary hair causing Nari to chuckle.
Jihoon's face contorted in disgust as he responded. "Even if I was a girl, I wouldn't date you,"
"That was so mean, Jihoon," Nari commented as the four of them burst into laughter.
"Nah kidding aside, I'm holding up pretty well. It's just a mere stab on the lower stomach, it will heal in no time," Junhui plastered a reassuring smile at the three who was then, relieved.
