Narrator's POV
Wonwoo had rushed Nari to the nearest hospital. The crime organization also has connections within hospitals which is why Nari was given the medical attention she needed. They had rushed her to the emergency room to save her since she is losing a lot of blood, plus the fact that she was drugged with a dangerous narcotic.
"How is she?" Seungcheol panted as he ran towards Wonwoo who leaned against the wall, taking off his leather gloves.
"Seems to me she was drugged and she's lost quite a lot of blood," Seungcheol sighed as he sat on the bench.
"What's your estimation of survival?" Seungcheol asked, since he knew Wonwoo's got an expertise in that.
"60-40, but I know she'll make it," Seungcheol was relieved to hear that as he sat down on the bench.
"What about the men who abducted her? did you recognize them?"
"They're bald and got lots of tattoos and it seems to me that they're part of some triad since they got this identical tattoo on their arms,"
"Like this?" Seungcheol asked as he showed a photo of a sun tattoo.
"Yes, exactly!" Wonwoo frantically nodded his head while pointing on the device that illuminated the photo.
"It's that bastard's men," Seungcheol gritted under his teeth, as his clench on his phone have tightened.
"Which bastard are we talking about here?" Wonwoo asked.
"Mujin, one of the guys that Mr. Jung went against in the courtroom. His men are in the list that he gave us,"
"By the way, did you get rid of them?" Seungcheol asked as he turned to Wonwoo who shook his head as a response.
"No, Nari was my utmost priority. She was about to get rape when I--"
"I'm sorry what? rape?" Seungcheol was astounded by what he heard.
"Yeah, and her health was in a crucial state earlier," he responded as Seungcheol fell into silence. He felt his blood boil in anger as he clenched his jaw, hands turning into fist. He took a deep breath before exhaling as he bit the inside of his cheek.
After all, How could they do such horrible thing?
"Wonwoo, I'm just gonna go home, and please go tell Joshua to set a meeting with the minister of justice," Wonwoo was about to adjust his tie, but he was halted as he heard his boss' order; he turned to him with widened eyes.
"Wait, are you really..?" Seungcheol just gave him a look.
"Just do what I tell you,"

Soonyoung and Jihoon had come to the hospital in order to see what happened while Joshua had stayed at home, making phone calls in order to reach out to the minister of justice, head of the journal media, and other people in order to cover up the upcoming inhumane act that is about to happen.
"Are you really sure about this, Seungcheol? Think about it thoroughly," Joshua had walked back and forth in the office while his boss sat on the swivel chair, facing him.
"We are so careful about the murders we commit to. Not an issue has come out about us, but when there's one, our name cannot be connected with it because we planned it so fucking and achingly perfect!" Joshua began to rant, inevitable to hide his emotions as he commenced in throwing hand gestures in the air.
"Relax, Shua. These couple of men are just some lowly triads--"
"Yes! Some lowly triads whose probably got like hundreds of members like us!"
"Yeah, but their boss is in jail. What else can they do?"
"They have an acting boss!"
"Regardless, Joshua! Regardless, that acting boss of 'em doesn't know how to act. Look what he did! he organized an abduction with two members only? Who is too stupid to do that aside from them,"
Joshua stifle a sigh before chuckling. "Why do you wanna badly kill them, Seungcheol?" Joshua asked as Seungcheol stood up.
"I don't know, maybe because I want to warn their acting boss to not mess with me," Seungcheol responded with an unreadable expression as he leaned against his desk.
"Really? or is it because of Nari? whom you are falling for. I heard through the vine that you are starting to feel a connection towards her," Seungcheol had laughed.
"I'm not against getting a lover, but this is business we're talking about—"
"Stop believing such nonsense. You and Jeonghan are teaming up against me, huh? Listen to me, Hong fucking Joshua, if you won't comply with my orders then I will execute the two of them myself," Seungcheol had enough of his right hand man who is contradicting him.
Seungcheol's clearly acting out base on his emotions because it's her that he's dealing with.
It's Nari.
Joshua remained silence, plastering an unreadable expression, but deep inside—he knew that the 'rumor' that Jeonghan had told him is true. Seungcheol's got a soft spot for Nari.
"And for your information, I don't like Nari. I'm just doing my job," Joshua raised an eyebrow, a small smirk on the corner of his lips as he leaned against the door.
Yeah, right. - Joshua thought to himself."You sure are doing a great job, Mr. Choi," Joshua complimented him with a hint of sarcasm.
Seungcheol had finished the last drop of whiskey before saying "Now go make phone calls because I'll do the fucking deed by my own," And so, Joshua had no choice, but to do it because his boss says so.

Nari finally regained her consciousness after being sedated for four hours. She slowly opened her eyelids, only to be greeted by Wonwoo, Soonyoung, Jihoon and her father, along with a doctor and a nurse.
"You're finally awake, Nari," her father beamed as the medical professionals proceeded to do a few tests and told her what happened to her.
"Nonetheless, you can go home after a day or two. You will be fine," The doctor reassured as he held a clipboard in his arm.
"Hear that? You can go home in just a few days!" Nari's father exclaimed in joy, but Nari was not happy. Instead, she shot her dad a glare before diverting her gaze at the three men inside the room.
"Do you guys mind stepping out?" she asked, in a serious manner.
"No we don't," and so the three left, leaving her and her father in silence.
"Dad, let's talk,"
