Narrator's POV
Nari had waken up at the six-thirty and only got half an hour to get ready for dinner. She splashed some water on her face and decided to re-touch her make-up because she doesn't feel like being seen right now in bare face.
As what they have talked about, Seungcheol and her met up at the restaurant downstairs. There weren't that much people which Nari finds great for she's not in the mood to be in a full crowd nor noisy place.
She entered the fancy premises, the delicious aroma of food and the jazz music greeted her. She lingered her eyes for a while until she finally found Seungcheol who sat at a corner. As soon as they lock eyes, the man waved at her, so she walked towards him.
"Hey, have you ordered yet?" she asked as she sat down across the man in black jacket.
"No, I was waiting for you," Seungcheol responded as the two began to look at the menu for a few minutes before calling the waiter.
"I'll have the chicken alfredo and a glass of Rose,"
"And for you, sir?"
"A steak and a Bourbon whiskey,"
"Is that all, ma'am and sir?" the two exchanged glances.
"Uh, yeah, that's all," Nari answered. The waiter recited their order to make sure and went back to the kitchen to get their order, leaving the two alone.
"So uhm, what's the itinerary for tomorrow?" Seungcheol asked.
"Well, I was thinking about going to the beach first since I'm really excited about it," Seungcheol could not help, but to smile after seeing her excitedness.
"And then, we can have lunch. Right after that, we can go to museums, this botanical garden and...I don't know. I kind of want to do things impulsively," Nari chuckled.
"Well, it wouldn't hurt to do things impulsively right now," Seungcheol reassured as the waiter came to serve their drinks.
"It's your time to shine, Nari, so do whatever you want," He added as he took a glass of whiskey, raised it up a bit before taking a sip from it.
Nari smirked. "You're right, it's my time," she muttered.
***
Right after a few minutes of talking and waiting for the food. It finally came. Seungcheol and Nari were served with the food they ordered. However, Nari could not help but to keep eyeing the stake that Seungcheol had ordered.
"Wow, that actually looks more delicious," she muttered with a pout. Seungcheol noticed it, he took a glance at his food before taking a glance at her food.
"Yours actually look more delicious," he commented though he's already satisfied with what he ordered.
"How about we exchange?" he offered which made Nari's eyes, sparkled.
Seungcheol smiled as he exchanged their plates. "Thanks, Seungcheol. I hope you don't mind," Nari sheepishly giggled.
"I don't really mind, plus I've been thinking about this pasta, anyways," Seungcheol chuckled as Nari began to eat. The lady could not help but to nod her head as she took a bite of the delicious steak.
Seungcheol watched her as she ate. He could not help, but smile as he watched her eat in giddy.
Now I feel quite bad for asking to trade, but this steak is just so damn good. I hope he doesn't mind; on the other hand, he's such a gentleman. - Nari thought to herself.
