Dream's POV
"Clay~ you ready to talk?" I hear George whisper in my ear. I look up at him, my mouth gagged and my hands tied. I shook my head.
"I know something's up. You never let me tie you up because you said I suck at knots." George said. I ripped my hands out of the ropes to show him his poorly done job.
"Okay I get it. No one taught me how to tie a knot." George said and looked away. I took off the gag.

"I'll show you." I said. George raised his eyebrows.
"Now I know something's wrong." George said.
"Nothing's wrong." I lied.
"Well the Clay I know wouldn't beg like you have been. He would have taken over by now." George explained.
"I love you. I want you to love me too." I said.
"What I need to prove it?" George said angrily then jumped off me.
"No! I know you love me. I just love you so much I just..." I trailed off. I couldn't even remember barely. Was I scared of something?
"You just what?" George asked.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"I'm sorry George. Scott's death got to me. I don't even remember why I was so afraid that I felt you had to top me." I explained. George hugged me.
"That's what I wanted to hear." George said as his grip tightened.
"I want to go sprinkle his ashes today." I demanded. George agreed.

We drove out to one of my favourite spots. It was the top of a small mountain. On one side there was a vast valley rolling on for miles, then the other side is packed with city lights at night. It was beautiful no matter the time of day. I held the urn in my hands. My brother would be happy here.
I opened it and sprinkled the ashes at the edge of the steep slope.
"I guess we should say some words." George said. I turned to the valley, looking into the horizon.
"Scott, when I first met you, you intimidated me. I now know I intimidated you too. Maybe I should have realized we have a lot in common. You then turned out to be a strange but great guy. I could always rely on you growing up, I'm just sorry we never partnered in anything. I wish you were still here, the view is amazing." I said. Then looked down at my feet and sighed, holding back tears.

"I don't know if I'm allowed to speak," George started, I turned to listen as he looked at the horizon, "but I feel I need to. I was there with you when you bled out. I'm sorry I couldn't help more than I tried. I hope you enjoy your new home. Clay picked a good spot for you." George said and closed his eyes. After a moment I grabbed his hand and he slowly looked at me, starring into my eyes.
"That was perfect." I say. George laughs.
"Thanks." He said. I pulled him in for a kiss and we left the scenic mountain.

Back at the cabin, we first walked up to our front door. It had been kicked in and the lock was cut.
"Stay behind me." I whispered to George, even though I know if they're still here they probably heard us pull in.
I careful went inside to find our ransacked cabin. I grabbed a chair leg off the ground and moved to the closet.
"Open on three." I said to George. George nodded and I moved to the side, counting down with my fingers.
George opened the door and I readied my weapon, ready to hit anything that moved. Nothing. I grabbed my bat out of the closet, at least I have a decent weapon.
I continued deeper into the house, every room was completely destroyed. Then I got to the bedroom.
On the pile of rubble I can only assume used to be our bed, there was a note.
I picked it up and read it, instantly feeling panicked.

Don't run, it's only more fun!

- Techno

"I thought he died." George said.
"He never dies." I said.
"Why didn't you say something sooner?" George asked.
"Because I was hopeful." I whisper-yelled.
"What do we do? I'm not getting kidnapped again." George whispered.
"Chances are he bugged this place. We need to run." I said.
"Where? We thought we were safe last time and we weren't." George reminded me.
"Just let me think!" I yelled and George shut up. I breathed deeply looking around.

"Okay. I'm going to say something absolutely insane." I said.
"Hey whatever doesn't get us killed." George said.
"I say we don't fight him, we should turn ourselves in." I said. George slapped me.
"That is not happening." George said.
"George I know this isn't ideal, but if we are gonna have a chance at this we need to strike some sort of deal." I explained.
"So your plan is to literally make a deal with the devil?" George asked.
"You don't have to come. He probably just wants me." I said. George slapped me again and held my face in his hands.

"You listen here you big idiot, I am not going to send you to Techno to die. Especially not alone." George said sternly.
"Well you can't make me stay." I said.
"So let's leave. Let's go find somewhere to hide out for a couple years." George begged.
"He'll find us again. You won't be safe unless I try to make a deal with him." I begged. George hugged me tight.
"I already thought I lost you too many times to that jerk. I'm not letting you." George said and started crying into my shirt. I looked down at the top of his head. His nails dug into my back.
"You have to." I said and George gripped tighter.

"Come on." I said and shook. He held on tight.
"You're safe now. Please." George begged.
"I'm not safe! Neither of us are safe!" I yelled.
"He's right!" I hear a voice behind me say. I turn and see Techno standing there, crossing his arms.

"Hello Techno." I say casually. George keeps his grip on me but moved his head so he could see Techno.
"Hello Dream." Techno said back. He then looked at George.
"You mind if I borrow him?" Techno asked.
"You can't have him." George challenged.
"I wasn't asking for Dream, I was asking him if I could have you." Techno said. I wrapped my arms around George, holding him tightly now.
"No way." I said.
"That's too bad, I was hoping I didn't have to use this." Techno said and pulled a remote out of his pocket. I knew immediately what it controlled. I let go of George and tried to grab it but then a shocking sensation was sent up my spine. I fell over and screamed with pain. Techno turned it off and stood over me.
"Let me ask again." Techno said. I tried to get up and he zapped me again. George backed up against the wall. Techno stood in front of him, leaving no space. George leaned back as far as he could, turning his head away from Techno.

"He's great isn't he Dream?" Techno said.
"Stay away from him." I said. Techno turned to me and laughed before turning on the shock and leaving at at a high setting. I laid back down, immovable and barely able to breathe. He then turned it off finally after George screamed, begging him to stop.
"I love hearing you beg." Techno said and caressed George's cheek.
"Just let Clay go... forever." George said.
"No... please." I begged. Techno turned to me and wrapped his arm around George's shoulders.
"I'll take good care of him." Techno said.

"You won't live to see another day." I threatened. Techno laughs and squatted down next to me.
"Oh sweet Dream.. haha.. sweet dreams." He said and turned on the shock again. George started panicking again. When the shocking stopped, I saw George in a headlock with Techno who has a bloody lip.

"Don't go anywhere Dream." Techno said flaunting his remote. I watched them leave, feeling an emptiness I knew all too well.
