Clay's POV
We can't stay for long. If I know Techno, he's already looking. I kept trying to think of what to do. Techno obviously has the police force bugged somehow, we can't go back to the house, and he most likely has our license plate as well.

"Las Vegas?" George asked.
"Crime alley." I responded. George thought for a moment again as he packed up everything in the car.
"How about Texas?" George asked.
"Hillbillies." I said. George sighed.
"We need to go somewhere." George complained.
"We will. I just want it to be somewhere safe." I responded.

George picked up the bag and a ziplock bag full of money fell on the ground. I picked it up.
"How'd you get this?" I asked.
"As soon as I saw Techno setting up at the house, I figured it would be easier to use cash for everything." George said.
"How much did you take out?" I asked. George looked away and started walking back towards the motel.

"About a million." George said and a coughed on my spit.
"You just have... in this bag?" I asked.
"Yes. I took it out just as I saw Techno locking down the banks." George said.
"Is there anywhere he didn't lock down?" I asked. George thought for a moment.
"I don't think so." George said and looked down.

We walked back to Skeppy and Bad's room. We heard moans coming from inside.
"Ha, horny motherfuckers." I joked. George laughed.
"Not like we can judge." George said. I smiled big.

George knocked on the door.
"What?!" I hear Skeppy yell.
"It's us!" George yelled back.
"Shit!" I hear Skeppy yell. Then I hear some silent arguments. I giggled and George smiled.

Finally the door swung open and Skeppy stood in front of us. His hair was extremely messy and his face was flushed. I looked at what he was wearing to see he didn't even bother putting his jeans on right.
"Bad timing, come in." Skeppy said and held the door for us.

I looked over to see Bad hiding under the covers. Skeppy sat next to him.
"We need a plan guys. Me and George got nothing." I said.
"We got nothing as well." Skeppy said and I sighed.
"Let's not give up." Bad said. Skeppy looked at Bad.
"Your shirt's buttoned wrong." Skeppy said and Bad blushed and redid his shirt buttons.

"Let's just lay low for now. Techno expects us to act now." I said.
"So we should avoid acting?" George asked.
"As long as there's cameras and guards, it's not safe." I said.
"I know a place around here we could grab a bite." Skeppy said.

"We need to remember, lay low." I said. Skeppy nodded.
"He won't find us, trust me." Skeppy said. I looked at George and he nodded.
"Okay Skeppy, lead the way." I said. Skeppy looked at Bad.

"Can me and Bad have five minutes, there's something we need to discuss." Skeppy said. I rolled my eyes.
"Me and George will go rent a car. You go ahead and fuck." I said. Bad laughed.

We got to the front desk and rented a car in a fake name. As we got the keys the other two joined us. Skeppy started driving, leaving me and George in the backseat. George cuddled up to me.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Getting comfortable." George said wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and shifted myself so I was leaning on him as well.

Skeppy looked at us in the rear view mirror.
"Aw, lovebirds." He joked. Me and George both giggled. Bad sighed.
"Where are we going?" Bad asked.
"You'll see." Skeppy said.

We pulled into a large mall. Skeppy turned to us.
"This is the important bit. There are cameras in almost every room. I need you all to follow my exact footsteps." Skeppy said. Bad bit his lip. Me and George nodded.
"I'm serious. One foot out of line and a camera will see you." Skeppy said.

First, Skeppy picked the lock to a back entrance. Then we walked out into the store where Skeppy's footsteps started getting very specific. We all listened to him and followed him exactly. We ducked into a store and pretended to be browsing, then finally got to a staircase where Skeppy stopped being robotic and turned around.

"How did y'all do?" Skeppy asked.
"Pretty good." I said. Skeppy nodded.
"Move freely now, no cameras downstairs." Skeppy said and we all got to the bottom of the stairs to see a large roller rink with a bar. I took some deep breaths and looked around, then I spotted a camera.

"Shit!" I yelled and covered my face.
"What?" Skeppy asked.
"You said there was no cameras." I whispered. Skeppy laughed.
"No working cameras." Skeppy said and winked. He took George and went to order some food. It left me and Bad.

"So, real question, do you know how to skate?" Bad asked.
"No clue." I said and looked at the toddlers on the floor doing spins.
"Good, I'm not the only one." Bad said and I laughed.
"Really? You too?" I asked.
"Do I look like I roller skate?" Bad asked. I laughed.

The other two got a few burgers and fries for us all.
"We should stay for a skate. Take advantage of our freedom." Skeppy said. Me and Bad looked at each other.
"Yes! I'm great at skating." George said. I scratched the back of my neck.
"That makes one of us." I said. George grabbed my hand.

"I'll teach you." George said. I looked at the polished wooden floors.
"And if I'm awful?" I asked.
"I expect you to be awful." George joked. I laughed with relief.
"At least me and Bad don't have that problem." Skeppy said and me and Bad laughed. Skeppy sighed at looked at Bad.

"Am I gonna have to teach you?" Skeppy said.
"When did you get so good at skating?" Bad asked.
"Spent more than enough months laying low." Skeppy said. Bad bit his lip.
"I'd bet." Bad said and continued eating.

We all finished and got some skates. George put his on extremely fast and rolled over to help me.
"Wow, you're bad at this." George said.
"Hey!" I said, but I didn't have a comeback. George bent down and put my skates on for me.
"There, try them out." George said. I remained sitting and rolled the skate on the floor.

"You have to stand up." George said. I looked at the ground nervously. George held out his hand.
"Trust me." George said. I took his hand and stood up, barely. I lost my balance and grabbed onto both George's shoulders. George laughed.

"It's okay. Let's go to the rink now." George said and I breathed steadily as he guided me to the rink. We got in and George placed my hands on the wall.
"Try to move along the wall." George said. I shifted and finally positioned myself so I could move along the wall. George held my hips so that I didn't topple over.

"Thanks for doing this." I said. George smiled.
"No problem. I like skating." George said.
"When did you learn to skate?" I asked.
"Me and Karl used to go all the time." George said and looked down.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"It's not your fault Karl stole Nick." George said. Then my brain clicked.

"I know what we could do about Techno." I said and George stopped.
"What?" George said and stared at me intently.
"Instead of going to the police office, we could go to Nick directly." I said. George's excitement faded.

"I don't want to see Nick ever again." George said.
"I wouldn't suggest it if it wasn't life or death." I reassured. George looked down.
"What if he..." George trailed off. I leaned against the wall and held George's face.

"At least you know I can kick his ass. I can't do shit to Techno." I said. George smiled.
"Okay. Let me have some time to accept this." George said.
"Take all the time you need. In fact, you share the plan with the others when you're ready." I said. George hugged me.
"Thank you." George said.
