Dream's POV
I was the last to wake up this morning. When I did, it was because I heard crashing in the other room. It went on for a while, lots of yelling. I rubbed my eyes and rolled out of bed to check out what's going on. As my feet hit the floor it becomes oddly quiet.

I walked out to see George sitting on the couch crosslegged with a laptop. His hair looked messed up and he held a bloody tissue to his nose.
"Good morning Clay." He said casually. I looked around to see the broken coffee table, tv, chair, and shelf. I nodded as I looked at all the damage.
"Where's Wilbur?" I asked, somewhat afraid to hear George's answer.
"Closet." George said. I raised my eyebrow.
"Any reason?" I asked. And started to walk over to the closet.
"Leave him." George growled and I put my hands up. I sat next to him in silence for a while. I looked at him to see him locked on his screen. He was focused on something important. He then caught me starring.
"What?!" He yelled.
"Are you really gonna make me ask?" I asked. He took a deep breath.
"I understand why you have your attitude towards Wilbur now." George said calmly and went back to his screen. I closed his laptop, forcing him to focus on me.
"What happened?" I asked firmly.

"He tried to kiss me. He thought it was a joke. When I responded poorly he told me I needed to learn how to take a joke." George said. I sighed.
"Yeah. He's a dick. So who broke what?" I asked and George smiled.
"You mean who got thrown into it, or who was the thrower?" George asked.
"Both." I answered.
"First I smashed the chair over his back. Then he threw me into the tv. Then I threw him into the shelf, coffee table, and finally the closet." George stated proudly.
"So you kicked his ass?" I smiled and he smiled back.
"Yeah. I've been looking at a few venues. Wanna see?" George asked

He pulled up some sort of bungalow beach house I smiled big and nodded, trying not to laugh.
"What? What's wrong?" George asked and I turned to him.
"I can't swim." I said making his eyes go wide.
"You." He said shocked and had several different confused expressions on his face.
"I'm not lying." I say, laughing.
"I never in... ever thought that would be your issue with the venue." George laughed.
"Shut up. You're probably not great at swimming." I deflect.
"Actually I'm a trained lifeguard." George beamed. I rolled my eyes. George then gasped.

"I'm gonna teach you how to swim." George said and I felt my heart drop.
"But... I could drown." I say.
"You're with me. No one has ever drown in my presence." George comforted.
"Have they come close?" I asked.
"Closest I saw was when this kid got pulled out and vomited water. I've been trained to deal with anything of that level and below." George reassured.
"Well I guess.." I muttered and George pulled me to the door.

"Wait! Now?!" I exclaimed.
"No better time than the present!" George said and marched forward.
"What about Wilbur?" I asked.
"What about him?" George asked.
We got in the car and George drove me up to his dad's summer home. It was out of season so his dad wasn't using it. George gave me one of his swimsuits and we got to the pool's edge.

"It's okay Clay. I can stand here so you'll be better than fine." George rolled his eyes. I looked at the transparent death liquid I saw before me.
"You won't try to drown me right?" I asked nervously.
"Why would I do that? I want you to learn." George reassured. I took a breath and slipped into the water. It was cold and I already felt uncomfortable.
"Humans weren't made for this." I protest and George rolls his eyes.
"Let's teach you how to float." George says and wraps his arms around my torso.

"On the count of three, I want you to lift your legs. I am right here. I won't let you sink." George said. I nodded and closed my eyes.
"Okay. I'm ready." I say. He counts and I lifted my feet. I almost sunk back into the water, causing me to panic. Then I felt George's hands underneath me, lifting me.
"See, not too tough." George says and I dropped my ears under the water. He then pushed me back up and I was standing in front of him.
"Okay. That was good, but I have some pointers." I nodded.
"Okay, what?" I asked and George stepped back, pushing himself into a backfloat. He gestured to his stomach.
"Make sure you keep your torso up, take a deep breath so that you stay up." George then stood back up.
"Got it?" George asked. I nodded.
Okay let's try again.

George held me as I kicked up into a backfloat. I took a breath and felt myself rest gently on the water. George then released me and I stayed up for a bit. He stood by and caught me when I fell again. He helped me stand again.
"You know. After today, I'm a little closer to trusting you." I smiled and George hid his face in his hand.
"I'm glad." George said.
"Thank you. I was so scared this wasn't gonna go well." I said and looked down.
"Hey, we all learn." George comforted.
"I still love you." I said and pulled George closer.
"Never stopped." George says, holding me back.
I now like swimming.
