Bye!~ Enjoy reading i will try to update more!~ )For five months, Xin Yue trained diligently. He stayed at the training hall for a full day, practicing meditation and learning how to control his emotions. He also asked Xin Wangji several questions that he didn't know the answers to.
Additionally, Xin Yue asked to be taught how to handle various weapons, such as daggers, swords, whips, and arrows, because Xin Wangji is a God of Weaponry and might need them in an emergency. Occasionally, following his training, his mother, the Moon God, would visit his room and provide him impromptu, delectable treats as they conversed.
Xin Yue's older sister, Xin Zianzi, is also in charge of teaching him at the library about the Gods' details, the history of the Xin Family, old letters and runes, manners, and many other things that would give him knowledge about the ancient world. Xin Chunling occasionally invites him to play or hang out with him in the Moon Palace garden where they sip tea and enjoy desserts at a table. The Moon God restricts guests since Xin Yue had a fantastic time inside the Moon Palace and she publicly announced that Xin Yue would be remaining there to recover his health following the events of the ceremony.
"Your Highness, be careful." Xiang Chen said as she guided Xin Yue to step down to the extravagant silver carriage in front of the Fengxian Brothel.
As Xin Yue got out of the carriage, he growled. The carriage was so opulent that the common people in the Yong'an Empire assumed he was a powerful nobleman and knelt in front of it. Even though Xin Yue found it unpleasant, he was unable to say no because his mother, the Moon God, had stipulated that she would provide him with a carriage if he wanted to go across the Mortal Realm with Xiang Chen serving as his guide and companion.
Xin Yue groaned in pain and massaged his shoulders, "I've been sitting in the carriage for so many hours..... If it was Banyue, we would've teleported in front of her in no time...."
Xiang Chen tilted her head with a blank expression and kneeled, "I am sorry for my incompetence, Your Highness. This subordinate will do her best———"
"N-No, No! I'm not comparing you to Banyue! Don't be so down, Xiang Chen! It's fine! It's fine! I just... Miss Banyue!" Xin Yue said as he shook his hand.
Without saying anything, Xiang Chen got up and nodded, and Xin Yue smiled at her while staring at the Fengxian Brothel building and exhaling. "Now, let's go inside———"
"Xin Yue?" A thin, delicate, scratchy voice came from the side of the Fengxian Brothel's gate. Xin Yue turned to face the speaker, and it was Madam Xingying, the elderly woman who had welcomed him and Feng Xin when they had first arrived.
"Madam Xingying!" Xin Yue waved his hand with a bright smile.
Madam Xingying smiled gently and spoke, "Look at you! You look healthy now! The servants were fussing about a luxurious carriage coming in our direction so I thought it would be an emperor of another empire but who would've thought it was Xin Yue? How are you these days? Should this old lady call you Young Master now?"
