Y/n's pov

I stared a the flames that filled the area I loved in with everyone. I looked around alarmed as the screams mixed in with the flames.

"DAD", I screamed running into the hellhole that invaded my home. Everywhere the people we lived with us were being stacked by enforcers. The guns, the screams and flames were too much to handle. I fell to my knees covering my ears trying to block out the noise.

An enforcer grabbed me by the back of my shirt forcing me onto my feet. I broke free from his grip. He used the end of his gun to bash me on the side of my face. I fell back onto the ground. I turned around to see the enforcer aiming his gun at me. Before he could pull the trigger an arrow impaled itself where his heart was. I turned around to see my dad holding his bow in the air then lowered it.

"GO Y-", he tried to scream, but stopped. I looked down to see blood pooling around his shirt. I looked back up at him to see him coughing up blood. He fell to his knees revealing the enforcer behind him. I turned around facing the dead enforcer behind me. I grabbed the arrow, ripping it from his chest. The arrows my dad used were sort of like laser beams, so it was burning my hand. I ignored the pain as I turned around and rushed at the enforcer. He was too busy looking down at my dad, about to finish him. I let out a battle cry as I charged at him. I jumped at him, with my hand raised in the air. The enforcer looked up to shoot me, but I was faster. I shoved the arrow deep into their mask breaking the eyeglass and impaled their eye. They screamed in pain as it burned away into their head. I backed away, ripping the shotgun from their hand. They didn't even bother to grab it back, just took off running like a maniac. I watched as they did then turned back to my father who was turning himself over.

"Dad come on let's go", I said trying to help him up, but stopped when he groaned loudly in pain. The blood was like puddle on his chest now. "No come on dad let's go please we ha-", I tried to say, but stopped when he placed a hand against my cheek.

"I slapped you", he wheezed. "It's fine I forgive you please get up", I begged. "I was so wrong, baby girl so wrong I shouldn't have tried to stop you", he said. "Dad please stop", I croaked trying to get him. "Y/n, listen to me for once in your life", he snapped making me stop trying to pick him up.

"Listen to me, you are one of life's greatest gift bestowed on me, don't you ever forget that", he said. I gripped his hand that was on my face. "I shoul shouldn't have stopped you from wanting to explore the world, like your mother", he confessed. "No dad you're right it's dangerous", I said all he did was shake his head. "No I was wrong, I was cowardly if I listened I could've saved everyone", he said with a tear falling down his face. "But I can save you", he added.

"What are you talking about we'll make it out, you just have to get up", I begged. "Take my bow, take it and go", he said. "Dad I can't please don't", I begged. He removed his hand from my face, forcing himself to sit up. He grabbed my face with both of his hands then leaned his forehead against mine.

"You're my daughter, my pride and joy, I love you forever and always you remember that", he croaked tears falling down his face mixing with the blood dribbling out his mouth. I sobbed harshly, gripping his hands.

"You need to go now, it's time for you to go", he gasped, removing his forehead and collapsing back onto the ground. I released his hands as he did, staring down at his body.

"Dad", I questioned, he didn't move. "No no get up please dad", I begged, shaking his body rapidly. "I'm sorry I'm so so sorry please, I can't live without you", I begged.

"Y/n, baby we have to go", my grandma said trying to get me up. "No let me go we can't just leave him", I cried gripping his body. Another shot ranged out making me look back to see my grandma falling to the ground. I let out a scream as she did. Gunshots and screams got louder and louder. I laid my head against my father's chest to drown them out, but it didn't work.

"Dad get up please",I begged gripping his shirt, the blood sticking to my hair. I glanced up to see enforcers surrounding me, one stood out particularly. He had an enforcer hat on with a gas mask on his face.

"Take her in", he ordered, then walked away. A bunch of hands grabbed me causing me to struggle. "LET ME GO, DAD DAD", I cried out.

My dad laid still as a statue. "No he can't be dead he can't be", I cried. I broke free from the enforcer going for the bow only to get smacked in the face by a blunt object. I fell onto the ground hard, my vision blurring. I turned over just in time as the enforcer held the end of their shotgun high over his head then bashed my face in, knocking me out.
