We were looking down the huge whole that led down to one of Silco's main factories, where they produce mass products of shimmer. I heard the sound of gunshots and an arm from all the way up here. I stood up and walked back over to Vi who was putting her gauntlets on.
"Okay so how are we getting down there", I asked. Vi looked down the hole then began nodding her head as if she was agreeing with herself. "That way", she answered posting a huge metal finger at it. I stared at her then back at the huge hole.
"Okay we taking a ladder or something", I began questioning looking back at her. "There are no ladders", she stated. I moved over a bit to look back down the hole again. Even if all I saw was a blur I knew it was a deep drop.
"Hell no", I said shaking my head. "Come on it's not that deep", she chuckled. "Uh fuck that I'm not jumping no no way", I replied backing away. "We need to get down there quickly", she stated. "Jayce can handle himself there are stairs for a reason people did not just build stairs for you just to jump down a big ass hole", I explained. "You jumped over rooftops", she stated. "And? Besides jumping over them and jumping down a huge pit is different", I replied.
"Fine", she sighed then turned around to show me her back. "Get on", she said. "Are you for real", I asked. "Yes I am now get on", she ordered. I let out a sigh then walked over towards her. I climbed onto her back by gripping her shoulders and wrapping my legs around her waist. "You know you can press up against me more", she said turning her head a bit to be able to look at me. "You're seriously trying to cop a feel right now", I asked rolling my eyes playfully at her. "Once we're done you can feel me up later now let's go before I change my mind about jumping", I added squeezing her shoulders more to get a better grip. "Better be true to your words", she replied as she began backing away from the hole.
"On the count of three", I asked. "Of course", she replied. "Okay 1-", I began counting, but she ran forward when I said one. I gripped onto her tightly and screamed as she did. She quickly grabbed onto a huge metal pole connected to the wall. We slid down against her metal gauntlets making sparks fly out from in-between her fingers tips as we did. About after a couple of seconds Jayce came into view. He was stuck on a bridge, some weird guys dressed in diver-like suits approaching him with huge blades.
"GET READY TO JUMP", Vi announced. "WHAT", I questioned snapping my head back forward to look down at her head. "WE HAVE TO JUMP", she repeated. "NO WE DON'T", I begged gripping her back more tightly. "ON THREE ONE", she shouted then jumped away from the pole. She twisted her body making me release her. I flew away from her and luckily landed on top of the bridge. I landed hard on my feet sending vibration up my body. I fell to my knees and began gripping the metal wall of the bridge while slowly standing up. I looked over seeing Vi winking at Jayce then put her guard up, her back facing towards Jayce and I. I took Antorāzu, my bow, off my back then took an arrow from my holster and placed it into the bow then. I held it up slightly ready to aim at the shimmer powered guards in front of me. I stared dead into one the shimmer powers guards. The whole suit of their tank was filled with shimmer. Even if I couldn't make out their face I knew they were in pain.
