Y/n's pov

Caitlyn and I were dragging Vi off somewhere. We were trying to get away from Silco's lackeys. They have to be coming for us after all that. Vi struggled to walk, she was still bleeding out.

"Silco's goons aren't far behind, we have to keep moving", Caitlyn stated. "What the hell is that", Vi asked. It was something big with huge purple lights, I couldn't make it out. "Nevermind just help me to the edge", Vi asked us. We moved her closer towards the edge of a huge canyon, it was a long fall down.

"Uh Vi are you sure you can...", I began to ask, but she jumped down instead. Caitly and I rushed towards the edge to look down. I heard a loud bang when she collided with something.

"God damnit Vi", I fussed jumping down after her. I clung to some kind of pillar. It was dark down here, so it was harder to make out things. It was like I was completely blind. I slid off the pillar. As I fell I made sure my stomach faced towards the ground below. I crashed against some pillars during the fall. I could feel my shoulder dislocating on one of the falls. I bit down my lip in pain. I had to ignore it, I had to get down there. I need to make sure Vi was okay.

I landed on the dirt, right in front of me was Vi. She was sitting on the ground, leaning over her legs. I rushed towards her lifting her back up to her feet. She almost fell back, but regain her footing as she staggered back up.

"Come on you can't pass out", I said. "I won't", she replied. I heard the sound of feet running across the dirt I looked forward only seeing darkness. The only light was from that huge sign above us, that wasn't even enough to shape out the creatures in front of us.

"Angel..you're shaking what's wrong", Vi asked. "It's nothing just cold", I replied. Caitlyn finally caught up with us. She quickly got by Caitlyn's side placing her arm around her shoulders.

The creature got louder as we walked Vi into the darkness. They either squealed, belched, munched, or cried. It was a just mixture of sounds, painful ones. "What is this place", Caitlyn asked. "It's where the kind of people you topsiders don't want to think about, wind up", Vi answered. We stopped when someone reached out a hand towards us, begging for something. Caitly pulled out a flashlight, shining the light on the person making them run away. She began shining the light around making them run away.

"It was never this big though", Vi stated looking back at something. "There", she said making us turn her around. We helped her walked towards an abandoned building. Caitlyn pushed the door open of the abandoned building. We walked in and placed Vi on top of the nearest table. Once we did I began looking around making sure there were no other entrance to the place. When I wa sure I turned back around heading back towards where Vi and Caitlyn were. Caitlyn was trying to wipe Vi's face, but Vi stopped her hand then moved her hand.

"I know you have your reservations about me, but this only works if we trust each other", Caitlyn stated standing up. "It doesn't work, it never has", Vi replied. "You topsiders always find a way to screw us", Vi added. "I suppose topside is to blame for all your misfortunes", Caitlyn replied then turned to me. "No not all of them", Vi sighed. Vi looked out of it, she was looking around the room as if she was seeing someone.

"We aren't monsters, you know. We're people just like you", Caitlyn sommented. "You don't know anything about me", Vi replied.

"We need to stop the bleeding", I said gaining their attention. "What about you Y/n, do you blame the topsiders", Caitlyn asked standing up. "We don't have time for this we need to help Vi", I replied avoiding her question. She stared at me then let out a sigh.

"You're right..you stay here I'll go out to find something to help her", Caitlyn said. "You want to go out there alone", I questioned. "As much as I prefer not to I have to", she replied. "Your vision Y/n it's damaged, you won't be able to see out there", she added. "I can see perfectly fine", I said. "Then why are you looking at the wall beside me", she asked. I squinted my eyes slightly to try and see her. The darkness blended in with her shadowed figure so I thought she was to the left slightly.

"I'll be okay y/n, you know I'm an excellent shot", she stated. "Yes you are...be careful, Cait", I sighed. She nodded her head at me then left the house, closing the door behind her. I sat down on the wooden table next to Vi. I picked up the cloth that was beside her and pressed it gently on her wound. Her eyes snapped open as she let out a hiss.

"I'm sorry, we have to stop the bleeding", I stated pressing down slightly. Her eyes fought to stay open. I heard her begin to chuckle slightly making me look up at her, "Why are you laughing", I asked.

"You really started to look like an angel, you're glowing"

"Now you're really losing your mind", I replied in a worried tone. She began babbling to herself. "Vi save your energy", I said. "You know why you're an angel", she asked. "You can tell me later, save y-it's because you always have my back", I tried to say, but she cut me off. "You're l-like a guardian angel", she groaned squinting her eyes slightly. "My guardian angel", she added. She gave me this weird look that made my heart skip a beat. Vi's my friend, why do I feel this way?

I stopped questions it when she closed her eyes and slid further down the wall. I reached towards her face, gripping her cheeks.

"Vi wake up", I said smacking her cheeks repeatedly. She didn't wake up. I removed my hands then grabbed her right hand, gripping it. She must've passed out from the pain, but please don't let her die in her sleep. I can't bear to lose anyone else, especially not her.
