Vi just took off running when she saw that blue smoke off in the distance. She didn't even bother to tell us why we were going after it. Caitlyn and I just had to follow her blindly towards it. Hence why we climbed up the last steps of the tower. There was a person standing in the edge where the blue smoke emerged from. I couldn't really make them out.
"Powder", Vi called out making the person freeze in their spot. That's when I knew immediately why she took off. Her sister was calling for her. Powder turned around swoly to face Vi, she didn't notice us yet.
"Vi", Powder questioned making Vi rush towards her. "Oh Powder", she sighed pulling powder into a tight hug. I saw some blue glowing object drop from Powder's hand. It looked like a gem of some kind.
"I'm so sorry Powder, I tried to come back I promise I did but I...I got arrested", Vi explained while caressing her face. "Marcus", Powder whispered. "I don't but it doesn;t matter I just...I never thought I'd see you again", Vi smiled pulling her back into the hug. "Are you real", Powder questioned making Vi break the hug to face her. "Yes, of course It's me, Vi, your sister", Vi stated. "I'm here, I'm right here", she added. "Things changed when you left, I changed", Powder replied. "I know, Pow Pow I know", Vi replied "You did what you had to do to survive", she added. I smiled at their reunion, but felt kind of disheartened by it too. Now that she's found and reunited with her sister, does that mean she doesn't need me to watch her back anymore?
I heard Caitlyn approach from behind me making me glance at her.I heard the sound of a machine gun being moved around making me turn back at Vi and Powder. Powder was aiming the huge gun at us.
"Who are they", she questioned. "Who are you", Caitlyn asked instead. "It's okay, they're friends", Vi answered. "Sevika wasn't lying you're with an enforcer", Powder said shuffling to the side a bit, kicking the small blue orb.
"You're sister is Jinx", Caitlyn stated. "Caitlyn just listen we can work this out", Vi replied. "This is a trick you're playing me", Powder snapped squinted her eyes as if she was having a headache. "SHUT UP! I'm in no mood", she shouted moving the gun to aim in a random direction. "We didn't say anything", I answered. "I wasn't talking to you", Powder snapped aiming the gun at me. "Powder, It's okay", Vi said trying to calm her down.
"Stop calling me that", Jinx snapped. "It's Jinx now, Powder fell down a well", she added. "You're not a jinx", Vi spoke. "God,I never should have- STOP TALKING TO ME LIKE I'M A CHILD", Jinx shouted aiming the gun at Vi now. I slowly began to take my bow off my back ready to shoot just in case.
"Was that why you came", Jin questioned. "For this stupid stone", she taunted shaking her head. "No I don't even know what that is", Vi answered.
As I was going for an arrow Vi and I locked eyes for a split second. She shook her head slightly at me making me lower my arm back by my side.
"You're a class act, sister", Jinx laughed. "Sister, thought I missed her bet you wouldn't miss her", she rhymed pressing down on the trigger finger making the little cannons begin to spin. "Powder! I'm here for you, only you", Vi retorted smacking the end of the gun away then shoving it downward. "You can fire that thing if you want, but I'm not going anywhere", Vi said stepping towards her. She placed her hand gently on Jinx's arm. Jinx looked down at her hand then back up at her still in disbelief.
"Everyone, shut up I need to think", she snapped at the air then raised her gun looking alarmed. "Do you hear that", Jinx asked. More squealing noise filled the air. I grabbed the bow from my quiver placing it in the bow then drawing it back ready to fire. We saw someone coming from out of the huge pipes on a cliff nearby. The person was riding a green flying hoverboard. Jix immediately started shooting at them, but they dodged with ease flying straight at us. More of them appeared flying around us like gnats flying around fresh food.
I walked closer towards the open area where Vi and Jinx stood to get a better view. All I saw were blurry figures flying through the air, but I could pinpoint them because of the glowing green from the back of their boards. I aimed at the one closest to me, I knew they were going to change at me. I followed their movements quickly aiming a few inches in front of the green light. Once I saw them change at me I shot the arrow, but they dodged it quickly. I took a couple steps back drawing another arrow shooting it. I shot arrow after arrow until I saw the person fall off their board. After the fourth shot they fell off their board following onto the ground.
I was about to shoot another one, but a bunch of rounds were shot my way. I turned seeing a blast of purple bullets shooting at me. I dodged in time, but a purple blast scratched the side of my arm burning the skin. I grinded my teeth from the pain, but still forced myself to grab another arrow. Before I could put it into the arrow rest, someone punched me hard in the cheek sending me flying to the ground. I gripped the arrow burning the inner side of my hand and thrust it forward at my attacker. I nicked them at their hand making them recoil back in pain. I sent a kick into their stomach making them stumble back slightly. I jumped to my feet about to punch them, but a squealing sound made me turn my head. One of the riders flew right for me with a blunt weapon in hand. I didn't have enough time to dodge. They smacked me hard in the face making my head turn slightly. I felt dizzy staggering a bit then fell to my knees. I fell on the ground about to pass out. The last thing I saw before passing out was Vi rushing towards me.
