You must moderate your attacks
Or you defenses will thin
Wear out the soldiers
And you've no use for themUse the battering ram offten
And you'll be left shards
Use too much force
And you'll break their armsThis isnt about war
At least not one fought with swords
This is the battle of friendship
You must know when to abortFor if you dont, you'll loose them
All your soldiers will fall
You pushed them too hard
And for much too longYour problems arent a package deal
A hi doesnt equate a new recruit
You must hint at the war to come
Else you'll be deserted, disappointed tooBut I'm building up my army
Man by man
Some dont know they've enlisted
But they get their pinOnce they're on your side
You start to equip them
Armour and shields
And a sword to fight withThe ones that dont run early
When the skirmish is so small
Are the ones to keep close
When the walls start to fallBecasue the war is with the commander
And it's going on in her head
There might be blood loss
But I hope my soldiers will fendBecause this war is mine own
And the demons are immense
I'm on the front lines
And I need true friends
