How much it breaks me down
Everytime you laugh at me

How much I crave your attention
Whenever we're surrounded

I hope you never know
The despair and pain
That my demons cause me

I hope you never know
How badly I want your heart
Just to claim it as my own

I hope you never know
How truthful I want to be
Every time I speak to you

I hope you never know
Because I'd rather live in the past
Than be surrounded by lies.
