Nineteen: Game On

Adam's POV

Peter's daughter? Who? My brows furrow together in confusion as I try to put a face to those words.

Jade eyes, brown hair, round cheeks, beautiful in every way possible.

"Aeris." The moment I whisper her name, the singing got louder and the girl beside me placed her hands on my face and pulled it closer to her. My brain slowly becomes hazy as the name faded away.

No! I thought, this isn't right, something's wrong. Come on, Adam, fight it! Fight it!

James' POV

An immeasurable amount of power courses through my veins out of nowhere, making me disoriented. Tiny hands catch me as I stumble backwards.

"Not getting nervous of a little fight, are we?" It was the She-Wolf, Larissa, who caught me.

"Look at this body, I was made to fight." I smirk as I shake her hands off. She laughed, nodding her head.

"You are extremely fit and built like a mountain," Larissa patted my chest as she walked past me. I chuckled, watching her return to Raevanna's side.

"Adam's been gone for a while now." Peter states, walking up beside me. His hands were tied behind his back, and that bracelet clasped onto his wrist. Although he didn't have magic, he could fist fight well, and I wasn't going to take any chances with him escaping.

"He'll be fine." I assured myself more that I did Peter.

"That's all dandy, but your brother's not my main concern at the moment." Dani. There was no denying the worry in his eyes that he cared for her, and I hated to admit it.

"She'll be alright."

"And Aeris, and clue where she might be?" There's a hint of concern in his voice that throws me off guard.

"Rufio is looking for her."

"Great," Peter groaned, "while the girls are missing, there is a lost boy out there. Isn't it wise to go look for him instead?"

My eyes immediately went to Larissa. "I have an idea." The two ladies were discussing a way to get off of Neverland when Peter and I approached them. "Sorry ladies, but the only way to get out of Neverland is if Peter allows you so."

"Peter Pan, the one that tried to murder our parents? He only helps himself." Raevanna glares.

"All in the past, love. Are we really being objectified by our past actions?" Raevanna simply nods at Peter. "Well, in that case, how is the Dark One these days? Still making tricky deals with poor bastards?" Raevanna's face went red with anger, and I knew with their arguing, we wouldn't get anything done.

"Speaking of deals, how about we make one?" I blurt out, stopping any further chaos.

"What kind of deal?" Larissa asks, intrigued and annoyed at the same time.

"You help us track down Devin, and we'll help you find a way home."

Aeris' POV

Felix walked beside me as I followed the singing, which led into a cave within the lagoon.

Oh my god. Adam was on top of a girl, his glowing red hands wrapped around her neck.
I bolted over to him, trying my best to pull Adam off of the girl. "Adam enough!"

Felix held me back. "Let him do what needs to be done."

"He's gonna kill her!"

"Some people need to be killed."
