Chapter 7
Adam's POV
We decided to camp out here tonight. All of the others were asleep except me and Aeris. It was strange. She looked almost exactly like Dani; her dark long hair, sparking blue eyes, sort of like Pan's, and her body. Just, damn! Snap out of it! I scold myself in my thoughts, You're here just to get her to believe in Pan, not fall for her.
She blinked a few times as she stared into the dying fire. I threw some more wood in, causing her to lean back a bit. The flames lit up, hearing her sigh as I felt the heat.
The copy of Dani looked up at me. "Tell me about yourself," she commanded.
I stared at her with a blank face. "There's nothing that needs to be told." I said, tracing lines into the dirt with a stick.
Aeris looked at me with a 'really' look, pressing her lips together. "Come on. You're gonna have to tell me sooner or later." She kept going. Yep, she inherited Dani's stubbornness.
I sighed in defeat. "Alright. I'll tell you on how my brother and I came to Neverland...."

\\\ Flashback ///
I hated being told what to do. It made me so angry. So when my mother said that James and I couldn't go out into the market, I did it anyway.
What was wrong with breaking the rules from time to time? Even if you were twelve.
I waltzed around in peasant clothes, examining the streets. I've never seen such poverty. The people were practically in rags, dirty, sweaty, or even both, especially the men. I studied them for a bit longer, not noticing that James was gone.
A hand whacks me down in the dirt, causing 'my' clothes to become filthy. "Watch it, idiot." A fat kid with fancy clothes snaps with his animals, other boys. Ha, animals. They looked like circus animals with their funny clothing. I laugh out loud at the thought as I stand up.
"What's so funny?" The fat kid demands.
"Just enjoying the circus." I smirk. Even for a twelve year old, I was pretty badass.
They looked at each other, confusion evident in their faces. Then they turned back to me. "You're weird." The fat kid said.
"Maybe," I shrugged, giving them a sweet smile. What? Being a scrawny kid had it's advantages and disadvantages. Attitude was my only defense.
The fat kid used his chubby hands to throw me up and back down again. Soon, the other kids began to kick me from all sides, leaving me with no chance to escape.
"Hey! Leave him alone!" My brother roared, the others scattering away.
"Well, look at that, one street rat helping another. How cute." The fat kid smirked. The other boys laughed.
"Don't talk about my brother like that!" I growled, tackling the fat kid to the ground.
James punched another kid who charged towards me. The two of us fought back to back, taking out about five other children. Our moves were oddly in sync.
Suddenly, the boys backed up in fear, looking past us. A woman with a brown cloak walked toward us. She held her hand out, red magic enchanting from her hand.
"Who- who is that?" The fat kid shuttered.
"My mother." James and I groaned in unison.
