When one seeks the solutions of the world, one may become trapped in a never-ending cycle of question and answer. People have been seeking ways to improve their lives and live in comfort—to survive the harsh world better.

What is progress? Is it to abolish beliefs and faith? Is it to proceed without a God? It may appear arrogant to those who have ventured to live with a God. Still, would you even abandon religion to pursue your own vision of progress?

What does it mean to survive in a harsh world ruled by beings of immense power? A power that you cannot imagine rivaling against. A power that appears to be reserved for Gods?

How would you have taken the path of your people to safety, when along the way you have broken the laws and rules sustaining the realities of this world? Where does arrogance lead you?

"How is this supposed to work?" tanong ko.

"Shh. Shh! I'm working on it here. Can you just stay silent for a second?" inis niyang tanong sabay taboy sa akin papalayo.

Ugh. Sabi ko na nga ba. Tinahak nalang sana namin yung isang pathway. But he didn't listen! Look where we are now! Another puzzle to solve. I hate this.

"This goes here... No, wait... It's in a different angle..." he had his hand on his lower face with intense focus evident in his eyes. He was thinking deeply while busy arranging the tiny tiles of clay on the large clay tablet, forming a picture or something of that sort. I have no idea what he's doing to be exact. All I know is that he's fixing the damn puzzle.

"Loren, bitawan mo na muna yang dala-dala mo," I was worried because of how heavy the bag looks. It's like he can summon any bag to carry the things he stole.

"Okay lang Ate," while picking more materials. He examines it first before nodding to himself, satisfied if the material is worth something. Is that a habit of his?

Oh, I forgot to mention, I killed the monster earlier so we moved on from that chamber.

Anong klaseng nilalang iyon? Like some kind of...malicious and stained aura.

I have no exact idea how auras work. But the same with mana, I think it could also face specific problems. Or...diseases. Is it even possible for mana and aura to face some kind of disease? Earlier, I felt how unbalanced that creature's aura was. It was some kind of a chaotic aura.
