I'm not a fan of heroic stories. They play safe and fair. In the real world, playing like that doesn't really have any impact on those who have wronged you. If they play dirty. Play back dirty. If they don't play fair. Then don't even play fair.

I was riding with the King. We stood on the huge back of his pet drake while the Draconian had his wings stretched out from his back. He wasn't fully transforming. Hindi pa nga niya inaalis ang blindfold niya. He's belittling us.

To him, we were not even worth untangling his blindfold. Tsk, cocky Dragon.

I grip my chains closed to me. Hinanda ko ang sarili ko sa susunod na atake. He might be showing off right now and attacking this part of the city, but seriously, is he this flashy? Kailangan bang maging pabida sa atake? What are they even aiming for? It's like they're playing with us. It's like...a distraction!

"Your Majesty...he's stalling us." The winds were strong. Tinatangay na ng hangin ang maikling buhok ko.

"I know," rinig kong sabi nito. Naka cross arms siya at walang emosyong nakatingin sa kalaban harapan.

I looked at him, a bit shocked and confused.

I looked in front and got myself ready.
