Tahimik kaming lahat at tanging ang kaluskos ng kubyertos ang maririnig. Enzo silent beside me too. With the whole family on the dinning table it sure was awkward.

"Did you finish school, hija?" Tanong ng isang tita ko.

"Yes, po. I'm a nurse."

"Comlaude?"

Tumango ako.

She nodded in satisfaction.

"Don't mind me asking, Galina. But how did you survive the plane crash?" Tanong ni tito, papa ni Kuya Ash.

"Before it crashes some lunatic throw me overboard." Saad ko habang ang tingin ay nasa pagkain.

Tahimik silang lahat. I can feel them looking at each other like I have told them the most ridiculous story. Well too bad I ain't lying because it really happened.

Tumikhim si Tito.

"And?"

Binaba ko amg kubyertos at tinignan si tito. "I was in a coma for eleven months, got disabled for the meantime, become a nanny of two kids, I went to school using the name of Gabie Salvatera, and a kind couple took me in."

"Disabled?" Kuya Ash.

"I have a lot of injuries because of my fall. So I can't walk for months."

Tumikhim si daddy.

"Stop asking questions and let my daughter eat, first!"

Kinuha ni mommy ang isang tray ng roasted chicken at inabot sa akin.

"This is your favorite right?" She asked.

Hilaw akong napangiti.

"I'm allergic to chicken, My."

Nawala ang ngiti ni mommy. Natahimik ang lahat.

"Oh! Yes, yes... I forgot. Ahh... W-What do you want then?"

Binalik ko ang tingin sa aking pagkain at ginalaw ang beef sa aking plato.

"Im okay with this." Tanging saad ko.

The next following minutes were silent. Enzo was the only one talking to me.

Unfortunately hanggang eight kami dito. Nasa living room ako kasama ang mga pinsan. Enzo is with dad they're talking in his office. At twenty minutes na sila doon.

Nasa isahang couch ako at lumilipad ang isipan habang nag uusap naman ang lahat. I can sometimes sense their eyes on me every minute.

Mom was busy putting food on our table.

"Gal, you drink?" Kristin ask.

I shake my head.

Ngumuso siya.

"Nga pala, Kuya Ash is married..." Aniya

Tinignan ko ang daliri niya at nakita ang singsing doon.

"...his wife wants to meet you. She's preparing dinner this Saturday. She asked if you can come?"

"Pupunta ako. "

Tumango siya at agad kinuha ang kanyang telephono. She texted someone. Siguro asawa ni Kuya Ash.

"Gabie Salvatera ang gamit mong pangalan noon?" Ani ni Prince.

Tumango ako.

"Kaya pala hindi ka namin mahanaphanap. You change your name..."
