2 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING.

Hayley opened her eyes and looked at Klaus, seated against the headboard of the bed reading his Father's diary.

"Have you been reading that all night?" she questioned him.

He looked down at her, "Yes I couldn't put it down, he wanted me, he would watch me as I grew, He wanted to take me from Esther and Mikael but saw me with my siblings and couldn't do it, he wanted to kill Mikael for his violence against me." Klaus said emotion raw in his tone.

"You would have missed your siblings if he had taken you away, and you wouldn't be here today Klaus, we wouldn't have had Hope, I'm sorry you didn't have time with him then or in the previous timeline, but I am not sorry that your immortal or that you killed your Father for Hope" Hayley said with sincerity and empathy.

"No the past is the past and cannot be changed, unless you are Hope Andrea Mikaelson" he said with a proud grin, "But is comforting to know that my Father wanted me, watched over me until his death at Mikael's hand." Klaus replied with emotion, his eyes stormy and thoughtful.

Hayley sat up and kissed him on the cheek, she loved that about him he was pragmatic and unless you became his enemy he was forgiving, and thoughtful and very protective of those he loved, Hayley got up and went to the bathroom. Klaus watched her walk away with a small smile.

When Hayley entered the kitchen only Rebekah was there seated, reading a fashion magazine.

"I hear Nik's biological Father's pack are here to become hybrid's, it is so different from the last time isn't it, what are you going to do about the crescent pack?" Rebekah asked as Hayley sat down after getting some blood, taking a sip of her blood, She said,

"For now I'm not getting involved with them I want Klaus and I to be Unified and be pregnant with Hope before I even have to think about navigating the crescent pack" Hayley answered with slight concern in her eyes.

"Your already married love, and if that's a concern let your mind be at ease, when Marcel went to New york before coming here, he went to St Patrick's Cathedral compelled the priest for a marriage certificate, dated back 1 year ago, and lodged the papers with the State Marriages, Births and Deaths registry office, I have all the documentation needed if Jackson comes claiming HIS right !!!!! about that stupid bethrothing you two are meant to have." Rebekah said with a devilish glint in her eyes.

"Ohhh... Rebekah that's genius, I love Marcel, I didn't think of that, when I first woke up back to this reality, good, my mind is more at ease, I was thinking maybe I should just get pregnant with Hope earlier," Hayley said with longing in her voice.

"No Hayley we still have enemies to kill and we have to deal with the Hollow as much as I would love my niece to be created and here, you becoming pregnant may trigger the Hollow earlier, Freya, Vincent, and I were discussing this topic some days ago, Vincent is of the mind that Hope's energy was what the trigger was for the Hollow to want to be reborn, you must not get pregnant until after we have dealt with her, so make sure Nic takes precautions", Rebekah said adamantly a serious look to her face leaning in to Hayley.

Hayley looked at her questionly.

"Your wedding night I assume you have to consummate the marriage for the Unification Ceremony, thinking back on the Handfasting that we performed a thousand years ago, consummation is required, the merging of the two souls to one," Rebekah explained.

"I forget sometimes your a thousand years old Rebekah and that you must hold those customs and values, you always appear so current and modern" Hayley said with a fond smile to the beautiful elegant always impeccably dressed Rebekah.
