CHAPTER 25

Klaus was sitting out on the balcony in the early morning, weak sunlight that was starting to break the dawn sky and sipping warm blood from a crystal glass supplied by one of the many employed staff of the compound, turning his head at Kol's approach, Kol's scent now intermingled with Davina's the two partaking in a great deal of blood sharing, it would seem.

"Nik your up early, nothing to stay in bed for." Kol asked brashly.

"No, thought I might just as well get on with the day." Klaus admitted.

Kol was amazed his brother the hybrid would own it, " The place doesn't feel the same without Hayley, I agree brother." Kol said candidly.

"But it's okay without Rebekah?" Klaus quizzed eyebrow raised smirking.

"No I miss her specially as... that's why I'm here, Vincent and I have been discussing the Hollow and even this early in time the Hollow may already have some followers, so Witches of the family along with Sage and Finn, all decided last night that we would throw a party for the witches of New Orleans here, Freya and Davina with Finn's expertise in herbs has a potion that can be added to the punch we serve at the opening of the night an alcoholic one and a non alcoholic one making sure everyone has some, then discretely we have the family and hybrid packs walk round and ask every witch here, if they follow the Hollow, it is a truth serum so we will find any followers, then we will do a repeat with the wolves the following night then we kill them and then kill the Hollow, it is set for 3 weeks time, Caroline is going to organize it."

"And what of the vampires?" Klaus asked.

"Vincent and Freya are certain they cannot be influenced by the Hollow, not while the Hollow's spirit is still trapped in the tree, if she got out then yes they could be, just as they were in the previous timeline." Kol explained, Klaus inclined his head in understanding.

"But you would rather have Rebekah here because after Valerie being resurrected and being Stefan's first love and the Mother of his child, which Julian killed, Caroline is having a fit, I heard last night, you know Kol privacy spells really need to be put on the bedrooms, the compound  sounded like a bordello  last night." 

"Jealous, Nik?" Kol grinned at him.

Klaus just remained stoic and silent.

"'We can conference call with Rebekah over party plans I'll mention that to Caroline." Kol said, "Nik the Salvatores will be here shortly, they want the 1903 Prison World explained, and why we made the decision to end it without their consultation, Freya is being spokeswoman on this, but she needs family support." Kol explained.

"Of course Kol, I will be there and it was wise decision destroying them and the Prison World, and Hayley was happy to hear that Valerie was bought back and will help Elizabeth and Josette Saltzman with their siphon skills." Klaus replied, looking at Kol.

"Have you heard from Elijah?" Kol enquired.

"Elijah and Lucy met with the Parkers last night, along with Josette and Alaric Saltzman, they are grateful for the death of Kai and the destruction of his 1994 Prison world, they will test the Elixir for Luke and Olivia, and they have sworn allegiance to the Mikaelson's, Alaric is apprehensive about us, but Josette is grateful and relieved that Kai is no longer a threat to her remaining siblings or her unborn twins,  Alaric is remaining neutral about us for now." Klaus explained.

"And what of Valerie did you talk to Elijah of her?" Kol questioned.

"Yes, Elijah knows, He thinks, as I do there is no need until the twins are born for Valerie to be introduced to Alaric and Josette at this stage, Elijah is extending his stay in Oregon Lucy found a quaint Bed and Breakfast she wishes to take advantage of and Elijah is going to indulge her." Klaus said with a smirk.
