Today the Mikaelson family of six had hired a boat, Klaus was going to Skipper them to Rodd island, Rodd Island a recreation reserve as part of Sydney Harbour National Park. 

"Let's go exploring." Rebekah said to Hayley and Davina, as Klaus, Marcel and Kol, set up the picnic spot under a large shaded area of the Reserve, after Klaus had anchored the boat and they or Rebekah had found the perfect spot for them to set the picnic up, already the three Males laying on the picnic rugs drinking, they didn't care to explore, content to sit, drink and look out on the Harbour from the Island, with very few other tourists around.

"Yeh, let's go," Davina agreed, " Bye" Davina shouted to the Guy's as the girls walked away.

"Look at this place, this is amazing." Davina said walking under and parting the long strands of the Weeping Willow Trees, to reveal a lake hidden from view from the thick circle of Weeping Willows, grass, plants and boulders bordering the sparkling lake, that was a deep green in colour, the sunlight filtering through the leaves casting a green glow over the area.

"This is beautiful." Rebekah said as she crouched down at the edge of the lake, Hayley sitting on a boulder that was half in half out of the green lake, "It looks bottomless, doesn't it?" Rebekah asked turning to Hayley.

"It does, that Waterfall feeding into it is graceful and appealing, looks like if you go behind it it will lead you to a secret world." Hayley laughed, noticing a Cave entrance behind the curtain of the waterfall.

"That's not so strange, we are supernaturals after all, and I was reading up on the Island and it was rumored Mermaids were on the Island at one time." Davina articulated sitting next to Hayley on the boulder.

"I would love to meet a Mermaid." Rebekah gushed, as they gasped and a long haired redhead female broke the surface of the green pool, then another and another, and seemed to glide through the water to them, musical songs coming from their mouths, very beautiful, their long hair trailing behind them in the water.

"Have you ever seen a Mermaid in your Thousand years Rebekah.?" Hayley asked with a smile, blinking her eyes to make she she was seeing clearly, as Davina gasped, staring at the sight.

"Not till now." Rebekah said grinning back, turning to address the Mermaids, "Hello, I am Rebekah Mikaelson and these are my Sister's in Law, Hayley and Davina."

And the red haired Mermaid swam close to them, "I am Ava, this is Adella," As a dark haired beauty swam close, "This is Azalea." Ava indicated the blonde haired mermaid that hung back unsure.

"You are not human, we can scent other beings on you, magic, wolf, death and life." Adella said looking curiously at Rebekah, "You are a pregnant Vampire, how is that possible?" She questioned.

"You know about Vampires." Rebekah asked tilting her head.

"Yes we have been around for a very long time." Ava replied.

"Our Family has many witches they have made it possible for my Husband and I to conceive a child." Rebekah explained to the floating Mermaids.

"We have met many Vampires over the Centuries and have never come across such a phenomenon your are fortunate indeed, we hold the act of procreation scared, I can hear three fluttering heartbeats." Ava announced as Azalea swam closer intrigued,

"I wish for a child, the Humans that come here have become so unhealthy, it has not been possible, did you come with the Male species." She asked them.

The three supernaturals looked at each other hearing the implication of her question,
