- time skip a few months -
"Mom please!" I practically begged. "This is my last week at school and I don't know when i'll see him after this!"
"Brielle I said no!" Mom shook her head. "Me and your dad aren't going to be home tonight and god knows what y'all are going to get up to."
"Okay but mom think about it, the thing that you didn't want to happen already happened." I exclaimed as I rubbed my stomach. "So I don't see why he can't come over!"
"Because I said so! I don't even know this boy, have I met him?" Mom looked at me.
"Uh yes! Multiple times, mom, multiple times!" I shook my head as I followed her. "Look, he'll only be over for a couple hours and he'll be gone before you guys get back."
"Who? Who'll be gone?" Dad butted into our conversation as he approached us.
"Alejandro! Dad help me here! Mom won't let Alejandro come over today!" I exclaimed. "And this is my last week of school so I don't know when i'm going to see him again."
"Aight tell him he can come over, ion see a problem with it." Dad shrugged his shoulders as he looked back down at his phone.
"Tione no! I already told her no, I said I don't want a random boy coming over whilst we're not here." Mom shook her head.
"Kehlani it's fine, it's not like anything's gon happen." Dad pointed at my stomach.
"See! Dad understands what i'm tryna say." I rolled my eyes.
"Watch the attitude before you make me change my mind." Mom sternly spoke as she walked away and dad followed her.
As the months went on I didn't think I would be in a position where I was happy with someone and they weren't judging me for my pregnancy.
So about a couple months ago a new kid joined our class.
At first I didn't really show any interest towards him. He was very talkative with me but I didn't entertain him.
It wasn't like I was India's only friend so she hung out with other people - and I obviously wasn't bothered by that.
However those girls that she hung out with were most definitely talking a lot of shit about me and all that went down with Jude.
