Sanem stood rigid. I'll at ease and fuming inside. After all this time and he simply walked back into her life and put her back to square one. She stared at the man she had once loved with all her soul, her very self; and if looks could kill he would have gone up in smoke. Then without any warning the man who had helped her put her life back together walked into the room as if though they were preparing for an ordinary meeting with a prospective donor or marketing executive. After the briefest of greetings and a display of territorial dominance, something that had caught her totally off guard; the two men eyed each other calmly but the testosterone that was flying about the room was undeniable and overwhelming. She considered running out the door and then simply fainting just to get out of the situation but she wasn't a coward and she certainly wasn't going to be the one to leave. So she stewed, chewing her thoughts in her mind before speaking. Thankfully or not, Jaime walked  through the door and broke the tension for a moment. "Buenos Días a todos. Y bien venido a nuestro bello país señor Divit. Que sorpresa saber que fue usted que ganó..... your a very fortunate man to have won the auction. My apologies for my rudeness. I am Jaime Bermudez Meronne. I am Ms. Aydin's representative, publicist, agent. En fin, a bit of a jack of all trades. I suppose you are here to obtain a date for the sitting and to collect your artwork. By the way, your work is exquisite". Sanem simply opened her mouth and shut it almost immediately. She watched as Can looked at the tall, and handsome younger man and nodded without saying a word. She cleared her throat to speak but the receptionist knocked on the door and entered after a moment asking if coffee or any other beverages might be offered. At once all four people in the room replied "no". The young woman looked all around and smiled tentatively before excusing herself and leaving without another word or barely a sound. That was it. For the world she didn't want to polute this environment with any drama. There was plenty of suffering amongst these walls and she only wanted to bring a bit of joy with her when she came. This was certainly not achieving her end. "Gentlemen.... It seems that we have some things to take care of regarding the auction and as Mr. Divit has also informed me an interview for the magazine he represents. As much as I would  like to participate in that" ..... "it's locked in Sanem, the media has already made it public and the radio stations are already airing the news regarding Mr. Divits sizable donation to the hospital, the magazines article which will garner worldwide support and of course you!" Jamie didn't relish being the one to take the wind out of her sails, but it was unavoidable. "Sanem... perhaps if Mr. Divit and I....." Alejandro began as he turned  to Sanem, raising his right arm to complete the embrace he had begun earlier. Sanem caught his movement and understood his intent but before he could complete his move she stepped forward toward the conference table and pulled out a chair, preventing his movement and interrupting what he was about to say. Now she was angry with him for attempting to take over what was clearly her business to resolve. "If you two wouldn't mind. I would like to speak with Mr. Divit. And Jaime, you can bring me up to speed on everything else later." She turned to Alejandro and smiled briefly before telling him she would see them both later. She waited until they walked out of the door before asking Can to sit. She never once addressed him by his first name. When he took the offered seat he looked at her and then spoke "Sanem, please can we talk about us? Is there somewhere we can go? There are things you need to know. Things I have to say. I want..."  Instead she addressed him in Turkish with barely suppressed anger. "Bu yeterli...
That's enough Can Bay. Enough. There is no "us" as you say. You put and end to it, remember?".

Can watched the man as he clearly displayed his position alongside Sanem. This was a man who would not give in or give up on something he wanted and it was clear he wanted Sanem. He also sensed that the man had integrity and from what he knew about him, he was well respected, well liked. He had remained a bachelor without ties until now, or so it would appear. His eyes turned to watch Sanem and noticed her body language. She was uncomfortable, angry and looked like she was ready to bolt at any moment. When the door behind him opened and yet another man walked in he felt another wave of anxiety course through him. Who was this now?
