The air seemed to become heavy and the whirring noise of the helicopter seemed to be far off somewhere in the distance. He felt his whole body tense and become rigid as he saw the policeman's body fly backwards and then hit the pavement. Within moments the van lurched forward hitting the car in front of it and pushing it forward enough come up along side it, jump the curb and up onto the sidewalk...forcing pedestrians on the street to run in every direction away from the vehicle that was now clearly driven by a madman. Can felt his heart lodge somewhere in his throat knowing that the woman he loved more than life itself was trapped with the same maniac that had beat him, planned his families destruction and most probably killed the Italian woman. He needed to keep his calm and think but all he wanted now was to rage against the caos that was happening below him. The pilot received orders from his commanding officer and soon the machine that carried him moved...following the van at some distance so as no to loose them but to also maintain appropriate air space. He wanted to jump out or take over as pilot because sitting there doing nothing was killing him slowly. All he could do was helplessly watch as the van careened back onto the street nearly running down a woman pushing a stroller before it turned into an alley and exited two streets down. He listened as the pilot narrated the scene to dispatch who then alerted the police patrol cars to the exact location. He wouldn't loose them unless he went underground. From there he could go anywhere. Can texted Metin and Osman. Osman replied that Engin was pursuing by police motorbike on the opposite end of where the alley way opened back up to traffic. Can couldn't help but to emphatically yell at the pilot when they lost sight of the van. The pilot doubled back and took another look but the van was nowhere to be seen. Can looked at his phone and her location showed them a quarter of a mile away. He knew the area well and there was blocks and blocks of underground parking. He relayed all this to Osman and asked the officer if they could settle the helicopter onto a rooftop. He needed out. He wasn't going to stop Yigit while flying in the air. The officer nodded and they landed atop the building next to where the AirTag was still displaying Sanems location. His only hope was that her wallet and Sanem were still together. He didn't dare think otherwise. He jumped out of the helicopter, waved his thanks to the pilot and ran to the emergency roof access and began his descent. Sanem was somewhere near and he needed to get to her before Yigit moved her again.

Sanem felt the van hurtle through the streets as well as heard the screaming of people no doubt moving out of its way. She stayed quiet not wanting to remind Yigit she was there. He was single minded in his effort to get them out of the traffic jam and after she witnessed his shooting of the police officer she had no doubts that he was capable of anything and that she needed to take any opportunity she got to get away from him. She had little illusions as to her wellbeing with this sick man. As her body rolled from side to side with the movements of the van she felt a wave of nausea attack. She closed her eyes and felt beads of perspiration on her forehead as she fought to keep calm and not throw up. She felt lightheaded from fear but also from the anxiety that she might never see Can again. The thought of that drowned out everything else. She looked around her once more trying to find anything that might aid her but aside from a bottle of motor oil there was nothing she could use as a weapon to defend herself. Every second that ticked by drove her further and further away from the man she loved. The man she had found again. The love of her life and the only one she would have by her side. She couldn't loose him now. She looked back up from her position on the floor of the van and saw Yigit's profile. His skin was red and the veins of his neck were standing out like chords. She was sure that he was riding high on adrenaline. He spoke to her and she nearly reacted by shrieking because he startled her. "Soon we will be leaving. When we exit this van you will keep your mouth shut and follow my orders or you will regret it. I've already signed my death sentence by killing a policeman so I've got nothing to lose". His voice sounded strange. It had been a long time since she last heard it but it seemed to her that he spoke in a higher pitch. Before she could stop herself she spoke "why? Why are you doing this? You must know the whole of Turkey will be after you. Can won't rest until he finds me". The van kept moving along and he didn't answer her. The silence was unnerving now and she wished he would speak again even if his words scarred her. Suddenly she felt the vehicle descending as if on a slope and then she heard a gates moving and then another descent. She was fairly certain they were underground in a parking area. The vehicle moved for another few minutes it es before it slowed and then came to a stop. He nerve ending seemed to stand at attention. Yigit sat still for a moment and then began searching for something on his phone. She couldn't see what he was doing but then he began to speak with someone in another language, it sounded to her like Italian. It was a short conversation but when he was finished he let out a long breath and then spoke. "Sanem Aydin you were supposed to be mine but like so many things in my life you were taken from me before I could show you what we could be together. Like so many things before you it was Can Divit who took what belonged to me. First it was a family, then it was a business and then it was you. I'm done coming up second. So unlike the times before where I simply wanted to take what he had this time I will not only do that but I will end him. Can Divit will come for you of that I have no doubt and I'll be waiting for him when he does on my playing field. He will pay for all the pain I have suffered. First he will pay through you and then in his own blood". Sanem felt her body shiver from the fear that his words instilled in her. He turned around and she stared into green eyes that looked possessed by hatred. He smiled at her and she felt her skin crawl as he looked at her with lust and hunger. "However before I see your Can Divit groveling at my feet you and I have to be reacquainted my dear. I would ask you to behave but I know who you won't so I won't bother. If you fight me you'll be hurt but I will enjoy you nonetheless. Your'e no longer a virgin so I won't need to take my time with you. As you probably already know I've been watching you and Can for some time so no need to play coy with me. You can experience pleasure with me Sanem. In fact I would be happy if you did. But it's not necessary to me. Did you notice your dress? I chose it especially for you. It was my pleasure undressing you. Your skin is incredibly soft and you smell intoxicating. Now...let me tell you what's going to happen right now. I am going to release you from the hold on your wrists although your wrists will remain tied. I will carry you to my car and lay you down in the back seat and cover you with a blanket so that when we exit you won't be seen. We will travel to my place in the mountains and we will wait for your man to find you. When he finally arrives he will get to watch as we make love Askim. He won't be able to avoid it. And when he can't stand it anymore he and I will meet. I will end him and then you can choose to remain with me or join him. Those are your choices Sevgilim. Now lets get started".
