“nasaan na ba sina paris?” tanong ni khail. sila ni felicity, astrid at si blaine na biglang sumulpot kanina ang kasama ko rito sa kabilang building.
when thorn said we should find a way out of this campus without going near flood, hindi kami naka-isip ng maayos na paraan. our minds went black when zero said they found a dead body, who knew baka kami ang isunod ng pumapatay dito diba?
nawalan kami ng ideya paano makakalabas dahil nasanay kaming umaasa sa mga ideya nina thorn at paris, pero naghiwa-hiwalay na naman kami.
“guys, isn’t that archer?” we hurried to where astrid is and she pointed at a person walking in the hallways of our building.
hindi namin ito makita nang maayos dahilan ng patak ng ulan at tsaka madilim sa parte roon kung nasaan yung tinuturo ni astrid.
“no, it looks like kreed with a bit of ryker?” blaine says also confused since we knew the two of them have the same height and we can’t find the difference in their figures either.
“that's not kreed, i know what he looks like and he doesn’t look like someone who’ll get lost” khail explains pointing at the guy na hindi pa rin namin makilala sa malayo.
“what if hinahanap niya tayo?” felicity asked as we shrugged. “subukan niyo nga sigawan” pahabol pa ni feli.
si astrid at blaine yung sumigaw para sa amin kasi hindi naman namin kaya yung ingay gaya ng kanila. we’re bunch of introverts so, what did they expect from us?
after minutes of their loud screams, the figure turned to where we are and the person waved at us so we waved back. may itinuturo ito pero hindi namin maintindihan, not until astrid did some gestures na parang sila lang ang nagkakaintindihan.
“i think he’s telling us na bumaba para kitain siya” astrid said. pag lingon namin sa kabilang building ay wala na ito. “okay, i think yun nga yung sinasabi niya so tara na” blaine says and we nodded as a response.
agad din kami bumaba ng building na ito at habang pababa kami ay nakasalubong namin si guile. and he’s holding a gun?
“what the fuck happened to you?!” napasigaw si blaine sa gulat dahil nakita namin itong may sugat sa paa at pansin din naming hirap itong maglakad.
i cannot read guile’s face but i’m sure he's up to something na hindi namin magugustuhan o di kaya ay may ginawa ito.
“ryker shot me, and believe me he’s the one behind all of this” guile said and i did not buy any of it. he groaned in pain when he felt like his wounds are killing him.
“pero bakit nasa iyo yung baril?” tanong ko and he was taken aback. i think he is lying and his eyes says so. “he left it at tingin ko ay kala nito wala na itong bala kaya iniwan na niya” he explained at wala akong pinaniniwalaan sa sinasabi niya.
“why would he even do that??” tanong ni astrid. hindi na ito nagsalita ulit at inaya kaming bumaba ng building na ito para maghanap na ng daan palabas.
i don’t believe him, ryker wouldn’t such thing to us. i know him since highschool at wala sa itsura nito ang papatay o pumatay. when they were speeding their walks, i stopped midway and thought about this whole situation we’re in.
gusto ko sila sabihan pero kung gagawin ko yun ay baka mapahamak silang lahat, at kung hihiwalay ako para hanapin yung iba mas may chance akong malaman ang totoo kesa sumama kay guile na pakiramdam ko ay nagsisinungaling lang.
they didn’t notice when i was far from where they are now and i turned around to change directions because i don’t wanna go with them. guile won’t hurt them, kutob kong nililinlang niya lang kami kaya naisipan kong humiwalay na.
i ran to the other side of the building para dun dumaan at kung saan hindi nila ako makikita. lumalakas pa ang ulan kaya hirap ang makita ang dinadaanan ko pero nakaabot na ako sa building namin nang biglang may narinig akong malakas na putok ng baril.
“damn, i hope it's not what i think it is”

“wait, saan ba tayo pupunta?” tanong ko kasi bigla nilang nakalimutan yung kikitain namin galing sa building namin.
napatigil kami nung tumigil din si guile. he stopped his tracks in front of us since he was leading the way, and he turned to us while smirking?
“oh girls, ang dali dali niyo talaga mauto” what did he mean by that?! don’t tell me it is what i think it is??
i think he’s the one behind all of this killing going on. i even blamed my brother dahil akala ko siya ang gumagawa nito pero hindi pala.
“what are you up to, guile?” astrid asked with a hint of fear in her voice and i feel like going numb with what’s happening around me.
hindi ko maigalaw buong katawan ko nung itinutok ni guile sa ulo ko yung baril. i can’t think straight when i should be stopping him at once, but i can’t move my feet.
ni hindi rin makagalaw mga kasama ko kasi natatakot silang may gawin si guile kung mangingielam ang mga ito sa kanya.
“kapatid mo ang dahilan bakit ako nagka-ganito, tinatarantado niyo ako when all i did was defend both of your names tuwing may nagawa kayo” guile stated in a stern voice. his words had hit me like a knife because half of it was true but i don’t get the part that he’s blaming my brother.
“you wanna know what kreed did to me?” sabi nito at idiniin ang baril sa ulo ko. i nodded as quickly as possible while fear’s covering my whole body in my place.
“he posted a fake scandal of me and archer, he told everyone that i was fucking gay! it ruined my reputation in this goddamn school and my parents disowned me!” guile raged in front of me. i wanted to laugh at it but, it seems like it's not time for jokes because he could pull the trigger in one go if i mess up.
“bakit, guile? hindi ba’t totoo naman?” my eyebrows furrowed when blaine spoke. wala talaga ito kinakatakutan.
guile removed the gun that was pointed at my head and pointed it on blaine instead. he walked to her side na galit na galit at parang bulkan na nag-aalburoto ito.
“i’m not gay! kreed ruined everything!” sabi nito sabay sumigaw sa galit. “guile, walang magagawa galit mo and the best thing we could do is ask for kreed’s apology” i rolled my eyes at how felicity's trying to light up the mood.
kahit anong gawin namin ay hindi ito mauuto dahil alam kong una pa lang binalak na niya lahat ng ito. how did i know all of this? well, the first thing i knew is that i saw him locking blaine in class b’s room.
i did not tell any of this to any of them because i know that it won’t save any of us either. we don’t know his real motives but i’m sure that he wasn’t the one who killed sephry.
he doesn’t look like someone who’ll kill his friends. i just think he's forced to do so while darkness is eating him inside at ramdam kong hindi ito nag-iisa para maghiganti sa amin.
