Break in

May 19th,

Tre and I stumbled inside the pitch-black house trying to feel along the walls for the switch. That's when I heard a loud crash, so I assumed Tre fell, but he slurred,"Avi, you alright tha wassa loud ass fall?!"

I felt the wall frantically, finally getting the light on. The whole place was trashed. The table was flipped on its side, mail all over the floor, and a wooden bookcase had been poured out, the books ripped to shreds. There were randomly unpieced together story pages all around us, little confetti of sentences, phrases, and words.

Tre and I both seemed to have the same panic attack because his eyes were as wide as the moon, and I could only assume mine had been the size of Jupiter. Neither one of us could say anything, but we sure sobered up real quick.

Someone had been inside the house or was still here, maybe just about to leave. Whoever they are, they want something.

I held my finger to my mouth and told tre to hush, then moved closer to the kitchen where the clash had been. The garage door was hanging wide open, and in front were 3 broken patron bottles, they had been above the door on a shelf for display since they were empty.

I stepped around the broken glass trying not to get cut then flicked the garage light on, were too late. They ran out the side door in the garage, the way Giselle use to take.

"They're gone tre, but someone was here! Can you go into my room, and see if my cash is still in my dresser. Top drawer, inside the green lucky socks," I Called out to tre from the inside of the garage. Taking one last glance around, I closed and locked all the doors then came back inside. Tre had been in the kitchen holding a handful of cash in both hands, one slightly fuller than the other.

"The left hand is your money, and the right is Capri's. Funny thing is, Capri had his money laying out and they still trashed the place. So, what's more, important than money? This is insane," Tre stated.

I started picking up the never-ending mess, I mean they went as far as pouring the cereal out, and going through kitchen cabinets. It's like the more I picked up, the more stuff I found and some of it had been lost, so I couldn't tell what was stolen. I was still scared, but it worried me even more wondering if they would come back, or if they planted something.

I got on the phone and called Virgo Sybil an older gentleman of the Sybil seers. His long frizzy beard traveled down to his belly button, with a blonde tinge to the overall grey hair, and crumbs in between each strand. His eyes almost glowed blue, and he was the only one able to tap into the events that just occurred. He could give us an idea because we can only understand what he sees in this vision and for him, it's just a glimpse of what's to know.

He let me know that in fact they were gone, and they found the key to unlocking it all, but all this confused me. He just saw some figure sorting through some things in the front room, then I guess they slipped something into their pocket. He then saw the person run into the kitchen as Tre stepped into the front door, then they ran out the side garage door. The only thing he heard, was the figure laughing when they found the object as if it were the ultimate find.  Something i still didn't realize was missing, but what was the ultimate gift from this house, what was more powerful than money?

"I finished the kitchen, it stunk bro. They literally tore the trash out, this shit's so fucking annoying," Tre rambled on grabbing ripped paper beneath his feet," None of this was necessary, no one even knows what they took. Did they take anything? Seems like they just made a fucking mess."

"I don't know bro, you know as much as me," I replied.

We spent hours cleaning without finding any missing items. I think we were just so aggravated that we couldn't wait to pass out, because the next thing I knew is I was vision dreaming.

I couldn't feel anything, but as I exhaled I could see my breath. Little snowflakes danced in the sky, but my body remained paralyzed. All I could see was the blinding sunlight, then my vision started to blur.

Everything went black, but just for a second, or so it seemed. When I opened my eyes, my body was laying in front of a fire place, I felt the warmth against my skin, and the plushy blanket against my face.

The room smelled like gingerbread, a small wooden cottage with such a Christmasy feel. Small little elf statues, a pop of red on the counter tops, and decorative ribbons pinned to the top of the walls.

The oven beeped 3 times, then the largest, strongest man walked around the corner. Bright white hair, baby soft eyes, but the toughest skin. So much hair he looked like a polar bear, except for the fact he dressed in all mint.

He noticed I had been awake, and the floor shook as he walked close to me. I started hyperventilating, then immediately the dream ended. Capri had been standing over top of me, I guess he heard me screaming in my sleep.

Observing so closely, he asked,"So Tre said someone broke in, but no one called me. Why's this?"

"I called Sybil seers, and they said they seen someone take something, but I have no clue what," I laughed.

"I'll keep an eye out,"Pri walked out saying.

I closed my eyes again, and fell back asleep more comfortably. Today in particular was very warm, so it just made everything better, quiet cozy.
