Lani

The warm blissful sunlight rubbed my eyelids open. Everything felt normal for a moment, but I knew as soon as I got up... It would all be the same again.

Lani was sound asleep in my arms, her soft lotioned skin felt like magic against mine. I began to play with her hair until she fluttered her eyelashes.

"Mmmm, "She moaned cuddling me closer as I began rubbing on her shoulders.

Lani twirled her fingers against my neck, smiled then leaned up and gave me the sweetest kiss. Again, and again I enjoyed the taste of her luxurious lips. Her kiss became an addiction to me, one of the many reasons I love Lani.

I grabbed her waist as she began kissing my neck trying to get me excited, and usually, it worked...but not today... I have too much to do...

Then once again she fed my addiction, and all my duties were put second. My love for Lani was too much to overlook, I felt the need to constantly please her. I loved seeing her happy, more than I cared about being happy... I guess all I really needed to be happy was her.

She smiled knowing I had finally relaxed, putting all my attention into this timeless moment. Heat rose in my cheeks feeling her tongue touch mine, an electrifying feeling came over me, I became intoxicated by her lips. Our bodies pressed tightly against each other, my mouth filled with an explosion of delectable flavor, and I felt out of body.

I didn't care how beautiful any woman was, Lani loved me best. That's something I could never forget, no matter how many temptations I had.

I kissed her neck, and I could see shivers fly down her spine. Her whole body trembled the more intense it got. I could smell the light smells of vanilla lotion as I trailed my lips down her body.  I pressed my lips against her thigh, then a loud thud came from the next room.

Both of us immediately jumped out of bed, I grabbed a pair of shorts and quickly went to investigate as Lani fully clothed herself.

A picture of Zeus had been shattered on the floor, the nail had been so old that it just fell from the wall. Something little that just ruined an amazing moment, I guess it was needed though. There were a few tasks I need to complete before I put full attention to this Motel disappearance.

"Nai, what was it?"

"Nothing Lani, I got it," I announced beginning to pick up two large shards of glass from the ground.

"Gods, you never tell me anything," She grunted stomping towards me to investigate the mess.

Today she wore a blue dress made from morning glory petals, she had her hair pulled back in a low ponytail, and golden bracelets around her wrist. Her skin was glowing, I could tell she was wearing her favorite toasted almond lipstick, and her blush enhanced her rosy cheeks making her look like a princess.

"You know, what we have... that's what Thea feels for Keaton. We can't let their love die, we have to ask for guidance," Lani advised. 

"Yes Lani, I know," I sighed grabbing the last few shards of glass and tossing them into the trash.

"Well, do you know that you have to mop now? Your hands don't get the small partials.... Gods, move I got it," Lani barked shoving me out of the way swishing the mop around the spot.

"Lani, I'm going to head to the medical center. Focus on your work today... It's time to be normal... to give them normal. Prove yourself to the gods," I whispered just before running into the room and changing.

After I got my clothes on, I went into the kitchen and made a strawberry smoothie to bring with me. I poured it in an orange c  no up, then topped it with a lid and straw.

I telepoted to the medical center waving hello to Jensen, and raising the staw to my lips so that I could taste the sweet and sour flavored smoothie. I loved the gritty feeling from the small seeds, I even add poppy seads to banana smoothies to get the same effect. 

I seen Thea sitting up in her bed already dressed in new clothes, she looked down at the ground with tears in her eyes. I guess someone's already told her... She can't leave...

"Hey Thea... I'm here to check your wounds one last time. After this final assessment you're free to finish any tasks, maybe even grab a bite to eat," I began saying sitting my smoothie down on the freezing cold counter top.

I grabbed her arm glancing around for any abnormalities, and everything seemed pretty healed. I moved on to sorting through her hair to check for any missing head injuries, and everything seemed to be clear.

"Nai, I on every Nymph I love... if I catch you after that last key... I will kill you myself. You are not my kind, I'd rather be an aurae than to claim you. You trusted Zealand of all people, clearly your judgment is invalid," Thea ranted hopping off of her bed and storming down to the lower floor.

"Nai, she's right," Jensen sighed as he grabbed my arm and pulled me down to Keaton's old medical room.

I decided not to pull, there was no point in running away. I would just prove to them I was crazy, and I was in fact not insane... wanting to know more just makes me... smart.  Plus, this was my task given by Zeus himself. I trained my whole life for this.

What is my purpose if it isn't Vampires? These keys are my life, basically the reason I spent my life underneath the surface.

"Jensen! You know this is my life," I pleaded as he strapped me down to the bed and locked the door.

He stood there for a moment, and I only knew because he always walked so loudly, yet there were no footsteps to follow the door lock.

"Nai, you did this to yourself."

Duubmm... Duubmm...Duubmm

"Eeeeeereeekee"

I heard the door next to me open, and the sounds of Jensen grunting. A sliding sound followed as he went down the hallway then.... BOOM!

*** were coming close to the end!!!! Anyone have any final predictions of what's to come?
