"What about seers? Avi and Pri are able to see the future, they knew you would come to the river. They aren't mortal nor are they nymphs. Their powers were passed down from their families", I questioned Thea.
"Avi's magic was so strong, much stronger than his brothers. Normally it's not something I could sense, but I could sense the supernatural abilities from your friends. The real question is, what are you?" She claimed, making me more inclined in the world of supernaturals. A world I'm unknowingly in.
Nothing in my life has had any strange problems until the day Tre and I seen avi and Pri's vision. I wouldn't be able to even give Thea an answer, this whole time I assumed I had been normal. Nai and Lani were right about one thing, I was an unknown force.
Quickly I got up and grabbed my black sweatshirt, along with some grey sweat pants and ran to the bathroom right outside my bedroom yelling out,"Then we need to go to Avi. My friends can see the future, they knew we needed to be at the river. They can tell us more about me, cause from what I've seen I'm normal."
I glanced out the bathroom door halfway dressed, but I couldn't see Thea in my room. Her voice came from the opposite direction agreeing," From what I've seen, a naiad's way of life is normal. I'm sure your friends would agree with their life Keaton. There has to be something you're overlooking."
I ran out of the bathroom and seen she had my front door wide open waiting for me to show her the way to avi's, and I did just that. It took us about 20 minutes, but we arrived to an empty house. No cars, no lights, no one.
"so what next?"Thea asked twirling her hair in spirals.
"I guess we wait" I stated letting out a slight sigh walking up to avi's door. I sat down pressing my back up against the cold surface.
"How long do you think we'll be waiting for? There are such tasks a nymph must complete daily," Thea laughed following me up towards the door.
Thea stood over top of me waiting for a reply, the wind blew her wavy hair so gracefully, and the light reflected against her skin so perfectly.
Lost in my thought I forgot about the question Thea originally asked. I was stuck in some trance. Her beauty held so much power over me.
"Keaton! Are you there? You look so lost", Thea laughed.
"Oh! Sorry." I apologized, then continued to babble on "Avi's usually not gone longer than an hour. If he just left, then at most an hour, but he could be back sooner. I'm assuming since no one is here, that Tre dragged Capri to some party, and avi must have gotten bored home alone. Maybe he got tacos, he loves tacos."
"I guess we can learn a few things from one another until then, since you are the best friend, of my former best friend." Thea giggled, covering her smile with her hand.
She was so beautiful, I've never seen someone like her In person. I've only seen such perfection in movies, there's something about those sea-green eyes that leave me speechless.
"I guess so," I said focusing my full attention upon anthesa," what I know is you and treviso were friends when he was younger, that your mom and his dad worked together, then his dad got mad over your magic I guess, therefore you left but came back on his birthday, and he hasn't seen you since. Well until now."
"It was too dangerous to come back until my magic was completely mastered, but since I just knocked you out I doubt I'll be able to stay," Thea responded.
She adjusted her shirt, then continued,"I guess as a nymph, I've always wanted to travel. Then I met him, and I felt like I was exploring a wonderland. I want to see the world, feel like I'm unstoppable, and wanna surge with confidence. I wanna lay there at night feeling completely full; United. Somehow something always goes wrong, and I'm just forced into feeling how I should."
