Keaton ran from the next room, then snatched the book from my hands,"The keys?"

"What keys Keaton? Capri never mentioned them,"Thea replied running her hands along the cover of the book. Keaton looked in her eyes for a moment, then looked down at the floor trying to recall his last memory of the keys.

"I've only seen them once, but he only showed me 3. I know there are more, but Im not sure what the others look like unfortunately," Keaton sighed gazing at the black leather cover, I wasn't even aware he told anyone else, and it was so long ago no one even thought about the keys. Avi locked them away, and never got them back out since."

"What are so special about these keys? Why avi and not Capri? They are brothers after all," I began communicating without any reply from Thea or Keaton.

" So did he say what powers were in the keys? If we got them to the gods, maybe the darkness in our lives will pass," Thea said looking down at Keatons white shoes," Capri would have done this for avi, and since he is not here, we must."

"Why is anyone asking about the keys? We don't have any clue about what a vampire even is! One problem at a time," Keaton shouted annoyed with all the questions.

I just rolled my eyes and snatched the book from his hands, I needed to get this to Kenai. Keaton obviously was going to be no use, and I'm highly considering leaving him here. It's just, Thea would be mad if I left her fiancé for dead, especially since they have the dragonfly keys.

"Kenai is a seer, maybe not apart of the Veda clan, but his abilities will be needed," I informed them both walking over to a new wooden table in the corner of the kitchen. I sat down in a chair off to the side, it looked uncomfortable however they put plushy cushions in every chair. Not one of the cushions matched, one being grey, one was blue, another was yellow, and my choice had been the orange cushioned seat.

"What time do we leave? I still need to grab a few things," Thea blurted out randomly opening drawers and grabbing whatever was in sight, then she ran into the garage.

About five minutes later she rolled out an enormous suitcase, and instantly I regretted the love I had for Jensen. If he and I were never close, I'd never have to deal with his annoying little sister, and her annoying choice of men.

"Thea... look no. This is not what we're doing, we need to leave like right now. Unlike you, I have many tasks to complete tomorrow, and I would like to be back before I am banished," I scoffed getting up from the chair, and snatching the suitcase away," This needs to go back, just grab one small bag. Snacks, water, a change of clothes, and some toilet paper."

I rolled the heavy suitcase back out to the garage, by the time I put it on the shelf, and organized a few things it was 5am, leaving us just 2 1/2 hours to find a lead. Atticus lives right outside zale city, and if the story was correct thats were the vampires must be.

"Nai? Thea? I got Kenai, we're both upstairs," Lani called out from Keatons bedroom moments before they both ran down the stairs.

"Let's go," Thea voiced holding just a change of clothes.

It took just a moment, but all of us were heading into the unknown. You heard the foot prints crackle against loose gravel on the sidewalk. Streetlights stayed lit above us, and once no neighbors were in sight Keaton shifted.

Flying above us swiftly in the night, using heat sensors on his nose to track the vampires. Since vampires were practically zombies, they weren't as warm as your typical being.

We turned off the road, and met the end of zale city. We were faced 1000 trees, maybe even more. Several different varieties of trees, bushes, and flowers, but it was hard to make out in just the moonlight. Luckily Keaton was there to help, swooping through the trees to detect any abnormalities.

I began to panic for a moment, Keaton had been gone half an hour, and that just shorted our time even more. Running around In circles, even Lani began to pace with anticipation.

"Look... if he's not back in 2 minutes......... I'm g-going...... with or without you g-guys," Kenai stuttered.

"Get it together dude," Lani laughed trying to search for Keaton through the tree.

"No, he's right. Let's go," I said beginning to head into the forest when Keaton zipped right past me. Just in time.

" I was just about to leave you" I laughed.

"No! We need to go, now! This was a mistake! I should have never listened to you," Keaton cried out shifting back into human form.

"What? No. We need to do this," I insisted rolling my eyes looking around at everyone.

"There are like 300 plus vampires 3 miles into the forest. There's a cave, next to the tallest tree in the forest. I found them all in there, feeding on a blonde girl. She had to of been 19, 20, but no more than 22. Her lifeless body just sat there on the cold wet floors, with 10 sets of teeth upon her," he continued to ramble on.

"Come on! There's no time for this! Let's go," Lani barked stepping closer to me along with kenai.

"You know, now that I think of it. There was a girl with a black cylindrical crown with red rubies around the base, but her face..... it looked just like mine," Keaton mentioned placing his hand upon his chin,"Her hair was a beautiful shade of auburn, but her eyes... they were mine... and her lips... like really down to the nose and chin."
