Chariots

When I woke up Thea was gone, but I heard the shower on, and seen her bag sitting on the edge of my bed, so I knew she hadn't fully left yet.

I got up and looked into the mirror hanging on the back of my bedroom door, my hair was wrecked. I grabbed a brush and some leave in conditioner, and I did whatever I could do to tame the mess.

I heard the shower shut off, so i walked out of my room and knocked on the first door to the right,"Hey..... You wanna get breakfast before you have to head home?"

Thea yelled out,"Sorry, I really need to go....I have a lot of things I have to do in Azlynn. I completely overslept."

"Well. I'm going to head over to Avi's and check on Tre.... Just make sure you lock the front door on your way out," I replied walking back into my room, I grabbed a blue hoodie, and slid it on.

Then I went into my closet, and looked in my second dresser for a pair of pants, then quickly grabbing the first black pair of sweats I seen. I completely changed my outfit, brushed my teeth in the kitchen, then ran back to my room and I sprayed myself with cologne, put in my earrings, and walked to Capri, and Avi's.

When I walked in they all were sitting in the front room, they were watching some reality tv show, all were already dressed for the day. Avi had put the least effort into his outfit, wearing a torn up red shirt, mix match socks, and a old pair of blue basketball shorts.

I sat next to Tre on the brown leather couch, and watch tv with them for about two hours, then asked if any of them were hungry. Everyone conveniently said no except for Aveiro. The one least presentable to the public, and he wanted to come.

"If you're going, then you need a matching shirt to them shorts, come on avi," I laughed making fun of his outfit.

" I think since I'm the one with a license, I get to do the complaining.... So, let's go," He replied back grabbing a black hoodie from the back of the uncomfortable chair.

Avi walked out the door, then immediately got into his mint green Honda Civic. I just followed him letting him know I was craving shrimp tacos, avi could never disagree with that decision since tacos were his favorite.

He took me to this new taco place that just opened, just by walking in you're hit with a burst of wonderful smells. Then when you taste the food it's like a flavor explosion, of their famous lemon pepper shrimp.

I could have sworn we were only gone an half an hour, but I guess the excitement got the best of me. I ordered 5 famous shrimp tacos, and avi ordered nachos, a quesadilla, and 3 southwest tacos, and it took us two hours and a few drinks to finish it all.

By the time we got back to avi's it was 3 in the afternoon, thea was already there waiting for us to arrive to finish the third book. She was sitting on the front porch, with the book on her laugh practically dancing out of her seat.

I sat down next to the front door, but avi just stood close by listening in.

"In a fight to change the inevitable, the first aurae will lose someone treasurable," Thea began to read out," A change will take place, causing anger and great pain, but gods will look the first in the face, and release him from all punishment." 

"Finally, I get to be happy right? I don't have to deal with losing my mom, my friend, anyone at that," Tre interrupted.

"No, I'm sure you will be United with your beloved Naomi, and will have to fulfill your tasks, but you're still going to remember your past," Capri muttered from behind Thea.
